Honestly, there have been some video games characters that have really withstood the test of time. That has been the case with Nintendo's Mario and the gang from the Mushroom Kingdom. But for other characters, they have had their times in the sun and never came back from that like Sonic The Hedgehog and Captain Falcon from the F-Zero franchise. But newcomers have always found a place in our hearts, mostly the first time around. That is the case with Cuphead, which last year's debut video game proved to be mind-blowing, not in gameplay but in graphics. The design of the game was loosely based upon the 1930's animation of Hanna Barbera, as well as Tex Avery & Chuck Jones from Warner Brothers. Seeing a calendar based on the foes and the hero Cuphead & his friend Mugman is absolutely charming for the Indy-video game junkie. As I looked at the calendar, all of the main characters including the big bosses like The Devil and the dragon looks clever and brilliant. While there are some calendars worth purchasing for hard core gamers, I do suggest you give this calendar with the cast of Cuphead a try.Price: BVisuals & Display: B+Overall: B 1/2+

This calendar makes me wonder if the people who made it don't "get" why Cuphead is such a breakthrough. Yes, the characters are interesting and appealing, but taken only by themselves, they could be confused with Spongebob or Bubble Guppies.Where are the backgrounds, the strange settings, the phantasmagoric art direction?Perhaps that's the marketing angle, and that's just the kind of thinking that sinks a franchise.Cuphead is different and new, yet it harkens back to an era of animation that spans generations. To those who know animation, the recognition is exhilarating. To those who have no idea what the references are, the look and feel is exciting, weird and exactly why it has done so well across demographics.I love that this product exists, but I fear that some questionable decision-makers may be involved. Ask people who really know.

Great for your Cuphead fan (or yourself). This is a 2020 calendar (with dates starting in August 2019 but with no pictures) so we received it a little early, but my son doesn’t really care. He promptly displayed July 2020 for his birthday month.This 12”x12” calendar features all of the Cuphead characters you may or may not know (I don’t know them all). There’s Cuphead and Mugman and the dice head guy! And lots more! One character per month except for the month featuring Cuphead and Mugman and the month with the root vegetables.I would recommend this for any Cuphead fan. Not so much for someone who has no idea who these characters are since the names aren’t printed with the pictures. Did nothing to further my knowledge of the game.

I have not played the Cuphead games and am currently unable to do so. However, I know that Cuphead is pretty popular game. The CUPHEAD 2020 WALL CALENDAR has an image for each month in 2020 from the Cuphead game. The characters featured include: Cuphead, Cala Maria, Cagney Carnation, Beppi the Clown, Mugman, Grim Matchstick, King Dice, Baroness von Bonbon, Hilda Berg, The Devil, and Root Pack. I like the classic animation of these characters. This calendar will probably appeal most to fans of the video game and those who like classic animation.

Nice large vibrant color calendar, little pricey, but what isn't now adays.Next year I will purchase one with game artwork. These images are a bit too basic
