I'm building a bass from parts and these were chosen simply because they were very inexpensive, plus I like the company and their fast service. The chrome is not the best, but they work and are definitely worth the price; thus 4 stars. I would suggest lubricating them and be prepared to widen the holes on your headstock a little; which is normal. I would buy again.

Delivery was quick... the tuners appeared to be what they were and are- cheap! I bought them for a Squier Modified Jaguar bass, and was very disappointed that due to construction/design, I had to drill holes to mount these bad boys, which meant filling and sanding some of the original holes... the chrome is lacking, too... they were chrome, to be sure, but the chrome had no depth at all...in short, they were ugly and required me to drill holes... I am not a happy camper... I think I will return them and get a set from another vendor (Musiclily)...
