Beautiful art
Bought most of these when I was a kid. Enjoyed them and had a nice drive along nostalgia road when I received the book. It's the art by Gonzalo Mayo that is the selling point. While intricate and beautiful, it doesn't work well as storytelling. Think of it as a tapestry.

Dramatic and heroic graphic art
Wow. This are comics stories like I 've never seen before. I'm just discovering all these cómics artists, specially the spanish ones and some from south-asia. They really had a different approach to graphic storytelling. They art style is very dramtic. I love it.

Fantastic artwork
Fantastic black and white artwork. Great introduction. The stories were pretty good, too. I do recommend this. It's a fantasy warrior on some adventures. Buxom women, evil sorcerers, trolls... ghosts... just what fantasy stories need.

Really hard to read on Kindle
The story is classic, macho comic book literature from decades ago. While I thought it shallow, hormone-intoxicated teenagers probably would go for it. However, the three star rating is for the poor formatting. The pictures and captions are way too small for kindle.

Awesome pen & ink line work
The details in the artwork are awesome. Stories are pretty good too but the way the images are captured using a combination of minimal lines and extreme details are what makes this a must have for me.

Like Conan, but not!!!
The artwork is beautiful, the stories are good too. My only real gripe is that the book is short, Eerie should have had more El Cid stories. Once you start reading them; you are hooked!!

Esperava Mais
