light weight and cheap enough to try
i have a lot of scope rings and mounts. as my eyes are getting worse, i am having to put on scopes on more rifles. i am in process of switching from fix 3x, 4x scops like acog to variable 30mm scope. while I love my ADM mount, it's pretty heavy and overly robust. i was thinking about trying out the aero light weight, but i did not like the curved profile of the forward extension. i like the straight angle cut extension like ADM mounts. anyways, i just got it. 6061 t6, so i know material is good enough, and i was wondering what the quality would be like.. quality is pretty decent. only thing i wish it had were torx screws. i will update and see how well it holds out next few months.

Great mount worth the money.
Works great! Holds my Vortex LPVO tight and in place. Defiantly recommend if you need a mount, but don't/can't spend a lot of money on one. It is pretty lightweight too.

Good solid optic mount for an excellent price
I bought this to eventually put a lpvo on a msr. Out of boredom I threw a primary arms 4-14x44 in it and threw it on a Savage 10. It works fine but it was clearly not designed to be put on a bolt gun (eye relief could be an issue). Hight wise its fine, a little high for a 44mm, would be great with 50mm + objective lenses on a bolt gun. For use on a msr it seems very solid and looks like it would work very well for a lpvo or something in the 44mm range. I especially like that the torque specs for all the screw are labeled on the mount. I will probably pic up another one.

WRONG MOUNT, RIGHT BOX
I Love the Arken Lightweight Mount and used it over my Aero Precision Mount BUT I ordered 2 Lightweight and they BOTH are the Rigid Precision Mounts. The Lable is correct as seen in the pictures and I reached out to Arken several times and they either don’t care or just do not care that ALL there Rigid Mounts are boxed wrong and Arken is LOSING MONEY and there Customers are upset and going back to Aero Precision. After the Customer Service Neglect I’m also sending back my expensive Arken Optic and going with Sightmark who has one of the BEST Customer Service on the Planet on Par with Vortex. I think Arken has Issues and I know Lost several Customers over this Issue since I’ve told several Brothers.

Almost Right, Almost!
I received my mount on time as always, so amazon did their part. The mount seemed to be made well right out of the box. It looks like the AD mount and that’s why 99% of you are reading this review. With that being said, the looks and quality are great.... until you mount your scope in it. The holes that were threaded for the ring screws are as crooked as a politician. They won’t mount straight for anything or anyone. Had high hopes with the reviews, but even in the listings pictures, you can see that they are off center. There is no way possible that these things will hold zero for long unless your set is aligned properly. I might be the guy that bought “the bad one”. We shall see, I plan to send this back and try again

SOLID BUILD
I decided to give this one a try after having some disappointment with a Leupold mount. I called the guys at Primary Arms and they said that this Aero mount is good to go. I thought it may not be rugged enough to stand up to the abuse that I put on my rifles. I really have no doubt in it now. I mounted it. It took a few tried to get it perfectly leveled to the receiver due to the hinges/ hooks at the top but once I got it it locked in place extremely solid. I used a mild amount of vibratite but it was questionable as to if I used enough. Took it out and zeroed it at 50. 1" groups with the Vortex 1-4. Rang steel at 325 yards consistently. After 300 rounds I called it a day. Never lost a zero screws didn't loosen even after a bumpy ride in the car without a case. They were right it's good to go.

Good design, poor execution
Super light weight and streamline. Love the design. Able to provide proper eye relief and scope height for standard AR. However, like another reviewer mentioned, rings are milled crooked. My pics are right out of the box and it was packaged with everything tightened down. You can see how offset the top of the front ring is. I wasn’t too critical bc it is only mounted on a .22. On a higher caliber rifle I would definitely go with a higher quality mount.
