Vtamu Baobab Sweets (Mabuyu/Ubuyu) (4 Packs x 100g)

Had these on a trip to Kenya and been craving them since!They are as delicious as I remember, tried my luck on Amazon and actually found them!For people trying these for the first time, the baobab seeds are coated with a sweet flavour. You suck the mabuyu and then throw away the seed, although, the locals in Kenya told me you could chew the seeds too for extra health benefits, I just throw them away- but your preference.Just a side note be they might stain your tongue and lips a little (red) so be mindful if you want to have these before something super important like an interview ( this happened to me!)Recommend the product, they are highly addictive, I can easily go through a couple packets per day. Delivery was fast.

Tasty and flavoursome!I love that they were real baobab seeds and not some processed sweetsHeads up to other buyers. You have to suck the sweets and then throw away the seed that you’ll find in the middle.I wasn’t sure what to do when I unexpectedly reached the seeds ha! A google search did tell me that you can chew the seeds if you want for extra health benefits so whatever takes your fancyOverall nice little treat 👌

I ordered this x2 and received 8 packets, I was delighted and they were delicious, obviously not as authentic as the ones from Kenya but I was elated nonetheless. So I ordered x5 so I would receive 20 packs as each order has 4 packs, I've just received the delivery and there are only 5 packets. So I've basically been charged £9.99/pack instead of £9.99/4 packs. I'm returning them for a refund, so buyer beware!

been trying to find red raobab for ages, finally did and i’m so happy, these are really nice and neatly presented <3 however i think they would be tastier with less sugar, the sweetness of these can be a bit overpowering.

I thought the amount or quantity of the product was very small for price paid for.The taste was delicious.

I purchased the sweets for my husband who grew up eating similar sweets as a child in Kenya. He absolutely loved them. I have had to hide a couple of packs as he would've finished them in a couple of days.I would also like to mention that the correspondence from the seller and delivery was excellent.This product will definitely be on repeat orders.
