Charley Harper Coloring Book Paperback – Coloring Book, November 1, 2008

Truly a one of a kind and totally different coloring book. The pics were totally different from anything else that I've colored in the past 3 years. Completely refreshing and one of a kind. Definitely purchase this book if you enjoy "different from the rest".

Such a fun coloring book, beautiful art work. I actually bought it for myself, along with some Sargent colored pencils. There's a nice variety of pages, animals, some people, and just fun designs. Great for ages 10 and up I would say.

I'm a huge Charley Harper fan so looking forward to the kiddos coloring these so I can frame them.Highly recommend!

Just received this, and it's printed on thick, smooth paper with really clear, sharp lines. Should hold up really well to markers and pastels. The illustrations are gorgeous, and would look fantastic framed uncolored.

Greet book. I have reused these drawings fig my son to colour in and they make beautiful pieces of artwork.

I got this to inspire me with designs for jewlery making. Did the trick, lots of ideas have been generated.

I bought the book for a friend who'd already lent me her copy as I was interested in the designs. My troglodyte Husband was painting the front room and decided he needed a straight edge, so he ripped the front cover off my borrowed book to use! I was mortified. So I've bought this replacement from world of books which I'm very satisfied with. My friend now has whole book, cover intact and I have a vandalised copy which I can still use.The illustrations themselves are bold mainly using stylised and geometric shapes. The separate areas for colouring tend to be large so you're not changing colour every two minutes. For myself, I'd like to translate some of the images into wire work which because of their size and nature of design work beautifully.

I think this is expensive for what you get. A lot of the pictures are big on the page, i.e. there is not a lot of detail, this makes the page look a bit bare. Some of the pages do have more detail but I am disappointed, and if I'd seen the book first I would not have bought it. I bought it for a present and am slightly embarrassed that it does not look any better than a cheap colouring book.

I love the pictures in this coloring book! Something different!! FUN! My kids love it as well. Definitely a keeper! Great gift idea :)
