Advanced Tool Design Model ATD-1380 106 Piece 1/4" and 3/8" Drive 6-Point Socket Set in Blow Molded Organizer Tray

I was thoroughly impressed with the quality of these sockets. I use mostly MAC at work and a mix of Snap-On and SK to name a few.This set is ultra handy and for the price it can't be beat.1. The chrome on these sockets looks and feels really nice, and unlike the new craftsman sockets they are completely finished to the inside bore.2. The plastic case is nice, but not exactly air tight so they move and bounce around in transit fairly easily. However I bought this set for the sockets, and the tray is a added bonus which fits in a tool box really nice. It's clearly labeled SAE thru Metric.3. The quality of the ratchets could be better. At first glance they sure look nice but the gearing inside feels a bit cheap, but so far work well.4. Best kit for the money hands down. ATD really knocked it out of the park with this set. I'm thoroughly impressed and will be buying the 1/2 set soon.PS: I will update this review if i notice any issues.

Pretty happy with set so far. All my socket work so far has been contained within the offerings from this set which is nice. The only thing I haven't liked is the markings on plastic as that are same color as rest of plastic. Something that stands out would have been nice touch, not much more expensive for maker to do, and would have made this purchase a no complaint product. Since the markings are raised I was able to paint with some automotive white which makes the numbers really pop. I also am not immune to the irony of purchasing tools for a diy experience and then shedding tears over having to diy with a paint brush.

for the price you pay for these tools, as well as the quantity of tools offered, you would think the manufacturer would provide a case. all the tools were dislodged when they arrived and I had to organize them again. quality seems ok, they just need alot of drawer space to store.
