900 Watt Multi Tap Stainless Transformer

Well built and of good quality. Seems like it will last a very long time!My critisizms are:1. That all three outlets are on the same channel and cannot operate seperately - One can't be on and the others off and so on. If I realized that this was the case I probably would have gotten three smaller units so I could control each string independantly.2. There is an automatic ON and a manual ON setting. The daylight sensor is not very good. It has to get quite dark before the lights turn on. Dusk would be preferrable. Or a timer would be good, so I can set it for exactly the time I want them to go on and off.3. There is no remote control available for this model, so if you want the lights to turn on before the light sensor turns them on you have to go to the unit and turn it on manually. I am not lazt, it would just be nice if I could do it from inside my home and not have to go outside and walk all the way to the box.

Plug and play on the professional scale. The only down fall might be if the integrated photo eye were to ever fail. It is built into the integrated circuit board, but a good electrician could by pass all this if that were to happen. 3, 300 watt transformers into one case. All have multi-voltage taps for those really long runs. Loving it.

I've installed landscape lighting before, this transformer is very simple to connect. The 3 zones stops the lights from dimming, as long as you do not connect them up in series. The "eye" automatically turns on and off...great product and good price
