Tried 2 of these, both failed to perform theft prevention functions.
Pros:Remote range is excellent, function is excellentInstructions were good enoughOverall build quality is above expectation for the price point.Remote is loud enough when not obstructedMicrowave sensor is stellar, loved itCons:The alarm arms itself when you turn off the scooter, very annoying. The alarm arms itself after you disable it but don't start it for 10 seconds, very annoying. The alarm being triggered did not disable ignition, therefore does not prevent theft. The alarm disables itself once the engine starts, therefore does not prevent theft.Details: I bought two of these alarms as the first one I bought didn't function properly. The second one didn't perform well either. I only wired the ground, ignition kill, power, and accessory power. I was left disappointed when the alarm failed to prevent the ignition coil from sparking. I took a multimeter and ohm tested the series circuit for the ignition coil (the ignition kill circuit). It should have been in an "open" condition (aka disconnected) when the alarm is going off. This should prevent the coil from sparking and the engine from running. This relay did not work. When the alarm was triggered, this circuit stayed closed and allowed the engine to run despite the alarm wailing away. To add insult to injury, the alarm would disable itself when the engine started running. This would mean a thief with a master key (or bump key) for my bike could start and ride off in seconds. Despite being triggered, the alarm would not have prevented the engine from starting, and would have stopped going off once the engine did start, which could be just a matter of seconds. I have returned both of the alarms and instead opted for physical security, a disc-brake lock instead.

Surprisingly good motorcycle alarm
Surprisingly good motorcycle alarm. I've had it installed for a few weeks now to make sure it didn't have issues - having previously installed a terrible Gorrilla alarm that would false alarm set off even when it wasn't armed and was skeptical of this unrecognized name alarm, but have been pleasantly surprised. Both the vibration and microwave motion sensors work well, and have yet to false alarm even once; yet have reliably gone off when I did actions that should trigger them. My only complaint so far (and thus the four stars instead of five stars) are the buttons on the remote - they are too easily pressed while in one's pocket; such that bending over while wearing jeans can cause pressure on any of the buttons on the side of the remote, which will cause the alarm to go off. I'm currently contemplating ways I can put a guard somehow around the side buttons to prevent this from happening.

A decent alarm for the price.
You really can't program anything outside the defaults, but the defaults aren't too bad. At least my bike is locked down a bit better.

Startling proximity alert!
Works like a charm, I'm very happy cause its super startling... The proximity sensor or microwave sensor alert makes people move away from my R1 real quick...

Qustion
Can u use a bike cover and arm the system, or will the cover cause the alarm to go off constantly or even not work?
