Assembly is not too bad if you are good with picture instructions and attention to detail. Instructions had no text and you have to pay close attention the the orientation of pieces in the pictures (which side is forward, which way the bolt is going, etc.)It looks nice even though there were some scratches to the paint. It's not very noticeable once the bedding is in place. You could probably touch it up if you want.Our mattress slid around a lot when we first put it on but an anti-slip rug pad fixed it 100%.Didn't really creak at the beginning but after several months it does. Maybe tightening the bolts would help but I haven't gotten around to it yet.Overall, it's a good purchase if you're looking for a sturdy, inexpensive bed frame.

I put this bed together without any help. ( NO MEN required) ( that made my husband happy) The instructions were a little foggy but the materials are pretty self explanatory. I did have to redo the headboard once but it was easy.The frame was very sturdy and solid. An Allen wrench drill did make things much easier on my hands and made it quicker. My husband is a very large man and was comfortable laying on the bed after the mattress was put on.I really liked the center slat construction. It really supports the mattress without having to get a box spring..

Bought this frame for my son. It was simple to assemble. Perfect size, heavy duty frame for a great price. Would definitely recommend.

I agree with most of the good reviews. The bed is easy to put together on the whole and is extremely sturdy. So far there is no annoying noise, jiggling, wobbling, rocking, or the like. It's far more solid than the floor it's sitting on. I put a Milliard Twin XL mattress on it which I had been using for several years on the floor; and they make a very comfortable combination for me. I'm 5' 9" and weigh 150 lb. In addition, the frame weighs about half as much as some of the competing frames. This makes it easy to assemble without help and to move around.I deducted a star because the frame, although it looks okay, is very institutional looking. They might think of offering some other colors or some trim. Also, I had trouble aligning the holes in the cross piece of the headboard. I finally had to remove all other bolts,, bolt on the cross piece, and then finish assembling the headboard. In addition, there seemed to be a missing part; but it turned out that they had simply mislabeled some parts. Once I looked back at the illustration, I realized what was wrong. They even provided one extra of each type of bolt.I would buy again; but I might paint it at some point.

Might be one of the best bed frames I have ever used. The assembly was not hard at all. Love the amount of space under the frame. I was able to put the whole frame together in probably 30 mins or so. I’m a bigger guy and the frame is sturdy and does not shake at all!

Bought this bed for my Uncle who is 6'3" and weighs over 340lbs. It worked out perfectly! No need for a box spring and it is extremely sturdy. The only minor complaint I had is that putting it together the instructions could have been a little better so make sure you have the headboard setup on the correct side or you will have to do it all over again. Other than that, buy the bed and enjoy.

I’ve had this bed frame for over 2 years now. it’s made it through two moves. easy to take apart and reassemble. has held up fine. a few of the screw holes don’t line up but not in terrible places. the main one being at the top of the headboard but it still stays in place without a screw. not a bad bed frame but you basically can’t move in it without it squeaking.

Compared to other bed frames I’ve had in the past, this was is sturdy and doesn’t creak when laying in it with my partner. It does take a little bit of time to put together, but nothing outrageous. The instructions and labels are clear and you should have it all ready to go within an hour or two. The black metal finish also looks pretty nice, especially with the headboard. For the price point, it’s really hard to beat this.

Fortunately someone on the amazon review site mentioned that the components are very snug: don't tighten up your bolts until the slats are in place and the bed is completely assembled. Then go around and tighten all the bolts last.Arrived quickly, and as described, assembled easily, and is very comfortable. The clearance underneath allows for some storage bins, and if you have a queen-sized comforter, it will drape across the whole bed, leaving a couple of inches off the floor on each side.Very happy.

I found there were scratches and spots that look wore (dull) . Once I put it together they didn’t show so I kept it but was disappointed that it almost looked second hand.
