Cracked easily. Cheap hunk.
Cracked after one use. Update: same crap. Cracked. Will not be buying any more plastic glasses. Even sounds like junk. Plastic sight glass. Don't buy these, get a steel & glass sealed kind. Be safe.

Watchout safety hazard read review
Ive bought several of these and the 1.5” ones are very different from the other sizes(different manufacturer?) and these fail! Get glass or polycarbonate these acrylic ones are cheap substitutes and will not hold 150psi!!! Failure at 30!!! safety hazard!

Great sight glass
I had a clear conical and enjoyed watching fermentation occur so when I saw this I thought it might be a good add for my Spike CF10. It is high quality and allows me to both watch fermentation and watch the cleaning process too. Highly recommended.

Works fine..still trying to trust it in contact with pressured beer or in high heat CIP use.
This seals fine and has been fun to experiment with but not yet sure I'd trust this in place of a stainless cap or other sanitary fitting for longer term contact with beer or when using high temp caustic. Still looking for a great use case for this.

Fragile
Hand tightening down my tri clamp and I cracked my brand new site lens when I hadn't even started to put any pressure on it yet. It has to be somewhat tight to not leak under pressure so I needed to tighten it down a little bit. Plus I don't like the way it protrudes higher than the top of the clamp making it vulnerable to breaking

Not glass
This is NOT glass nor pyrex. Cheap plastic.

Best option for the budget conscious
We use this for a degassing chamber, and it comes at a fraction of the cost of other flush mount tri-clamp sight glasses.
