What a fun product! I put it over my kitchen sink ...
What a fun product! I put it over my kitchen sink for function and fun. The bright white light is wonderful and functional to actually be able to see what I'm doing. It's a "daylight" look to it. 10W makes it brighter than most of the other readily available color changing bulbs. Thus, the white is bright enough to actually use the light. The colors aren't bright at all, but at night I use them as an accent color for fun. When other lights are out and I'm in the neighboring room watching tv, it's fun to see the glow of different colors.Surprisingly, it's actually just a plastic casing around the led and not glass, but that's fine, it still works. The round part is a bit larger than an average bulb so it may not fit in a tight fixture. No, the remote doesn't work from super far away, but it still works from farther away than the light switch did! I love that I can dim the light. For a few bucks more than a regular LED light, it's totally worth the money.

Measures about 8 watts on the brightest, white setting. The colors aren't as rich/saturated as other RGB LEDs I have. Some of the colors flatten out to basic color when dimmed (e.g., when purple is dimmed it just becomes red). Otherwise works as advertised.

so i like that the actual white lite is bright and at night its nice to have the colors. but dont expect to use this durning the day unless for white as the rest of the lights are about 1 4th as bright as the white is

Stopped working
Worked for 5 weeks, then died. It was great when it was working. We loved it, very easy to use. Remote worked great. Then after about 5 weeks of use (in the same outlet) it just died. Will not turn on anymore

Great Bulb
Great item, love the remote and is plenty bright enough. And if you want the option for colors this one is great. The light output is about the equivalent of 60 watt for the white.
