Very disappointed. This item came in the shipping brown cardboard box...no "Hangry Kits" box as advertised in the picture. It was to be a gift and just looks like I went to the cupboard and threw in whatever I had on hand. I will not be using this as the gift it was intended to be!

The sunflower seeds were not in the box. Then many things were different than the listed described items. The picture shows the item contents much larger than what they actually are. UPDATE:After I had already posted this, the company contacted me to follow up on my feedback. They offered a consolation gift (the questionably named "Man Kit"). I told them I had already submitted the review but that I would updated it after receiving the promised kit. I received it a few days later and I feel comfortable bumping them up to five stars. I think the customer service (overall) was excellent, and the response was detailed and specific - which may shed some light on why it takes longer to get a response.I'm very happy with my original purchase, and I really like the Man Kit, and everyone at my work is extremely interested and jealous in these things. Great experience and would buy again.Original Review:Overall, I'm pleased with the purchase. The only drawback is that of the 40 items included, they aren't necessarily equal value. A bag of chips or a granola bar would count as one item, and so would a piece of candy (like a Laffy Taffy). I wasn't really surprised... I didn't think it would be a box full of big items, but it's hard to judge the value when there is so much inconsistency.That said, I keep this in a drawer at work and it's very popular. We don't have vending machines in our building, so it's nice to be able to grab a quick snack when sitting at a desk drains my energy. I think it's a decent value and while I don't think I would buy it regularly, I would buy it again.One comment: The company contacted me after my purchase to request positive feedback. They said if there was *anything* I wasn't 100% satisfied with, to let them know. I replied and said basically my first paragraph, but also noted that I was overall satisfied. I got no response, which for me was a mild bummer - if you reach out to request feedback but go radio silence when it's provided... well, I'd rather you didn't ask in the first place. Again, nothing major enough to keep me from purchasing in the future, but I have a background in customer service and these kind of things stick out to me.

My recipient received the box and the items were just thrown in the box, a few items from the picture was missing, a couple of the packages of crackers and cookies were broken. I was rather embarrassed of the entire shipment.

I purchased this for my dad who is now on a restricted diet and this had many items in it he could have that didn't contain sugar. My sister was there when the box arrived. My dad was pawing through it and grabbing stuff and going "mine, mine, mine." His wife, was hovering over his shoulder exclaiming, "Oh I get that one." It was hilarious, they were fighting over the snackies. I have received multiple thank yous from them both. They have thoroughly enjoyed the diversity of the gift as it suits both their tastes. Thanks so much. Will order again.

For some reason in all the years I've been buying on Amazon and using prime, I never considered the idea of ordering snacks online. So much easier... I'd like to thank the beautiful individuals who decided to cram a bunch of delicious snacks into a box and send it to all the people like myself who were too lazy to go to the store to buy snacks.For the advice, despite what your brain and stomach say do NOT try to eat all of the contents of the box in one sitting while screwing off on the computer. I got about 3/4 through my box, picking out all the good stuff and eating that first. Pretty soon my stomach started telling me I had eaten my fill and shouldn't keep going. I persisted because, why not... Pretty soon my stomach started to hurt a little... Too much.All in all, delicious, convenient, neat design, and a great challenge!

My sweet son is in college 1,300 miles away. I work full time and go to school at night. I don't have the time right now to make care packages full of homemade yummy things or even run to Costco to fill a box and ship it off. Feeling guilty and missing him, I stumbled on these kits here on Amazon. I felt the price was fair, nothing looked terribly unhealthy, so....Mom approved. He was happy to receive this and shared with his girlfriend and room mates. He said it saved his life many times on busy, crazy days!!! :) That made me happy. My son still needs me!!! haha I will be buying more and perhaps even subscribing for him. Thank you for the great idea, convenience and semi healthy things for him to eat and share.
