Included software has keygenerator that installs malware. Don't run it. Does not get recognized by any usb to com port redirector driver software I could find for win xp or 7, or linux under WINE. (I tried 15 or so for FTDI and Prolific drivers, with a reboot between installs and testing per their instructions and the adaptor doesn even show as something recognizable...) I would return it for refund/credit if that wasn't more expensive than what this is worth. Amazon needs to do some quality control over what it sellscand weed out the junk and scammers. Not a happy camper.

Works really well with my 2014 ford fusion titanium Ecoboost. Once I had this product I installed ForScan onto my laptop and it connected with no issues.With this product I was able to add navigation to my touchscreen whereas one would have to take their car to a dealer to unlock for them for a fee. I was able to do this for free.Without this I wouldn't be able to unlock all the secret menus within car and customize pretty much everything including my taillight style. Thanks !

i wanted to confirm that i successfully used this on my 2014 Ford Focus 2.0L Hatchback, SE model. i used Forscan v. 2.3.25 beta successfully to reset my BMS battery monitoring system when i changed my battery.just make sure if you use your laptop, you plug in to the wall. the USB current out to the ODBII port wasn't enough when I was on battery, after my 100% charge went down to 95%.

First off, it did not work, and impossible to connect. But, worst thing is; the program disc was loaded with a virus, transfer through a KeyGen program on the disc. When I install the disc, which came with the connector, it installed a virus on and wipe out my PC. I had to reboot to factory reset. And, lost all my files. I wonder how many more buyers will get screwed like this I lost photos of my grand kids and great grand kins. Thanks for nothing. Evelyn Ange

I bought this specifically for my Ford Fusion Sport as it was advertised to be compatible for that use. It didn't work at all.

this product doesnt work like its supposed to. It read only a 1/4 of the time and doesnt even give all the info when it does read things. it was delivered to my trash can after i tried to use it

Works great and super cheap! I wish the switch was labeled but FORSCAN would tell me if I had to flip it so no worries.

Worked well for more. Would be nice if the switch was label which direction was HS or MS. The picture in the amazon listing depicts this information however.
