Franz Wohlfahrt - 60 Studies, Op. 45 Complete: Books 1 and 2 for Violin

I am picking up the violin for the first time in 40 plus years…looking for a collection of exercises and etudes to knock of the rust. This book fills the bill.

Got it on kindle and every time I change a page it goes to the finished book page, so I though I would fill this out and might get it to stop lol

I come back to these etudes when I need a refresher on the basics

The paper seems flimsy, as does the cover, however the music print is clear and the book lies flat. When I took it out of the mailing envelope I first thought it had just been photocopied - my teacher also! But we think it's good - paper could be heavier though.

My original copy of these etudes was falling apart and when I learned it now comes in a spiral book I ordered it immediately. It is so much easier to read now! Thanks.

I used these when learning the violin, and now I use them with my students. The order has a nice flow and each exercise targets a specific ability. I also love the spiral and wish I'd had it growing up. It stays very flat on the stand.

I like the style of the book, it's easy to flip. Though not much I know about this book but my son's violin teacher required this book for practicing violin notes.

Challenging for the beginners but excellent for development.
