Great teachings by Master Yogananda .

Yogananda was a great spiritualist. He has a great way of explaining everything in a clear, profound language. I am sure you can find guidance to what ever questions you have in this trilogy set. Simply put,"God is the answer to all.. Sincerely pray to him.. don't betray anyone.. always think good.. if bad thoughts enter..simply move on keep focusing on good things.. God is all.. Just keep your mind focused on God." THis is pretty much the essence of all of Yogananda's teaching with some bells and whistles of course!! He keeps repeating what I have said as the answer to everything. You should read the book.. there's more to it than what I have said!! Here's the warning. People like Ananda and the Self Realization Society have made a wealthy living by selling Yogananda's lessons and ideas.. Actually they have made a fortune. Ananda is a complete fraud. Do not join any organization (ananda or Self real society) because they are CULTS. Do a simple internet search and you'll find that Ananda is a fraud. Just read the book.. but do not join their society in search of Kriya yoga techniques. They won't disclose these techniques till you have spend thousands of dollars and completely surrendered your life and wealth to them for years. True hindu teaching are not such!!! For the money you spend with these frauds, you could go to India seek a true Indian master and learn all these techniques for a much less price. Some recommended works include Swami Rama's Path of Fire series.. Sivaananda.. Get the picture!! there are tons of these guys. Don't give up your life, your family and your wealth in a quest for spirituality. If you want spirituality, go to India find a competant Guru there. Ananda and SR society are CULT like phonies. This is a way of making money! You can be as spiritual as you want with everything you have now!! God loves everyone. THe way these guys make it sound is like you have to be prepared or you have to go through initiation to reach God. God can be reached in one second at any point in your life. I hope I have been clear.

I've been reading this book over and over for the past 12 years..... Every time I read I hear it a new. This book answered so many questions I have had my entire life. The Divine Romance is a must read for a spiritual seeker regardless of what religion.

Paramahansa is one of the clearest spiritual writers that I have ever read. This beautiful book is divided into chapters that are complete unto themselves. You can choose to read a chapter by subject matter and find a wealth of knowledge for many of the questions that plague us as humans. We are very fortunate as Westerners that he was called to the West to develop our spirituality. His Self-Realization Fellowship is easy and inexpensive to join. As a member you receive a written course in your mail. It comes every few weeks and is a continual source of clear, concise, spiritual teaching. I highly recommend all that Paramahansa has written and bequeathed to us in his all encompassing love.

I love this book, and the other two volumes in the series. They are full of knowledge about God and our purpose for being in this world. Paramahansa Yogananda gives us useful information about how to live our lives so that we can experience God first hand and to mould our behavior into ways that would be pleasing to God. Even though these books are based on talks given by Master Yogananda in the early 1900s, they are still relevant today. It doesn't matter what religious/spiritual path you follow. You can gain much from reading this book. One of Master Yogananada's teachings is that all religions are seeking the same truth.

An inspiring book by Paramahansa Yogananda, one of the greatest of modern day saints. So happy to have it as an ebook now! This book is a true guide on how to live a spiritual life in this crazy world!

Very practical. It's like having my very wise grandfather at my bedside and more... Yogananda writes eloquently, down to earth, and yet this extra-ordinary man talked and walked with the Infinite. I don't know of any other spiritual book that cuts to the chase like this one. It's a manual to living... really living, not just physically but in all aspects of our being. Read it, read it, again and again, and you will always pick up a gem. Mull it over, sleep on it... This is beyond wonderful.

Having studied world religions, Yogananda's essays (more like letters of guidance from a beloved brother)were discovered and found to be deeply inspiring, comforting, loving, non-judgmental, and one of very few tomes worthy of re-reading. Have since read most of his published works, and he is a gentle teacher,(as is White Eagle), whose wise words can be applied to daily life...making one's inner and outer world, a happier place. Thorougly recommended.
