After using the bag for 1 year exactly the battery don’t charge at all and the bag start falling apart the interior coming out , with all respect with that price you can get something more useful and much cheaper, it was a 700$ to the trash 👎🏼 ( by the way I just use the bag 8 times in that year )

The media could not be loaded. First of all I would like to say that I am a Flight Attendant and my experience with the suitcase is probably more rigorous than the average persons would be. So you will have to view my review through that lens and apply it to your own expectations.I bought this suitcase last year after reading a lot of reviews and searching out several different companies and I wanted to take it through its paces before I wrote a review about it. After 6 months I’ve come to the conclusion that just like anything else, it has its pros and it’s cons and that can vary widely based on your intended usage.To spare you from reading the rest of the review that goes into a little bit more detail I will simply say that I ABSOLUTELY LOVE my suitcase and something that you don’t get to say often…. I think that COWAROBOT is an EXCELLENT customer service company!I can’t emphasize that enough. Everytime I have had a question or concern they have addressed it immediately and looked for a solution to resolve it. They’ve listened to all of my feedback and addressed it accordingly. Jiang in particular has been an amazing support agent when I did have any concerns. So I definitely give this product and company a THUMBS UP!————————more detailed review—————-In an effort to give an honest review I will start by saying the first thing you need to realize when purchasing this product is that you are more so buying the technology than you are buying the suitcase. I say this because the suitcase in itself is a quality suitcase and as far as sturdiness and reliability is much like you would find in any average suitcase on the market today. It does not have a bionic frame that somehow exceeds standard norms of any suitcase and if someone was to take your bag and throw it it would shatter just like any other suitcase. However it does place above traditional suitcases in that it has a mechanized lock in which you can easily change the combination as well as open it up remotely through the App without having to input your combination to do so. It also comes with a standard TSA lock opening as do most higher end bags do these days.THE PROSGiven the dimension and size of the bag it’s main purpose is meant to be used as a carry on bag and that’s good because if you’re like me you don’t want to send your very expensive bag down below in the checked been area. It has a lithium battery that is extremely long lasting and I myself have used it for up to four days running through airports as a Flight Attendant from gate to gate never having to stop and recharge. The battery easily pops out, in case of an event where you travel on a smaller plane and are required to valet check your bag having to remove any battery, e-cigarettes and all of that other stuff required.The bag also has two USB ports that give you full access to the batteries power and can charge anything quickly and efficiently. All in all as a bag this is a pretty darn good bag. This bag operates just as advertised. I have not gone through one airport without people being amazed at how the bag follows you like it’s a little droid. It does this through three cameras located on the handle that locks on to the person standing in front of it once you initiate the “follow me” feature. ITS WEIRDLY AMAZING. lol. It follows you and only you.THE CONSWhile this part of the review is a much shorter list, it is a necessary aspect in order to give an honest and even review. There are a couple of this you need to realize when purchasing this product. The biggest drawback I would assign to it is the fact that it does not like DIRECT sunlight. This is because it uses cameras to follow you and observe it’s surroundings and when sunlight flares the camera it “seizes” up presumably because it’s lost tracking of you. I’ve found that if you slow down and walk in such a way to let it regain tracking of you you can make it through an airport that has those really well lit atrium areas that let in rays of sunshine. But that can be weird, look weird and isn’t something you want to do in a rushed environment.In my opinion this thing can see you better in the dark than it can the light but don’t let that distort in any way that the bag operates just fine in well lit areas. I think the challenge more or less comes when you walk from a dark to light area in quick succession such as a sun ray coming through a window which makes the camera flare. That is the real issue. And as silly as it sounds you learn how to walk in a different way with this bag. You learn where to avoid walking as well as walking in lines to avoid people and objects and giving a wide berth when turning corners or ensuring not to take them too quickly.In addition to the bag following you with cameras it does sync with an app on your phone that gives a pulsing vibration that speeds up if the bag gets too far away from you. Now me personally I prefer an audio sound that allows you to hear the signal as well as feel it because the vibration can sometimes be muffled out if your phone is in your pocket. Depending on the type of flooring the bag is moving across it can make it somewhat challenging to hear your bag especially on very smooth surfaces. This can lead to an eerie feeling of “is my bag behind me” but that’s what the vibration on the app is for. I spoke with the customer service team and asked them about developing an audio sound for the app which would make it so much more easier and comforting when walking through a busy airport.The biggest question I get from people is what if someone was to grab my bag and run off with it what would happen. I tell them first of all it’s a lot heavier than it looks when fully loaded. Also the wheels that come down out of the bottom of the suitcase in order to give it driving propulsion would retract back up into the suitcase and it makes a sort of loud whiny sound and you would immediately hear it. So the person bold enough to try and steal a suitcase that literally EVERYONE is watching would not be able to simply walk off with it.I personally created an audio loop on my phone that I let play with my phone magnetized to the side of the suitcase that makes me feel extremely comfortable with it behind me. Not only that but I use my Apple Watch to view the camera on my phone so I can see basically my backside as I’m walking with it.As far as the durability goes as I said, the suitcase itself is a suitcase and it susceptible to any damage that any other suitcase is. The inner lining is a bit interesting in that at some point the glue holding it on tends to release and you will find yourself trying to tack it back up. This can be resolved with applying a higher tact glue but for the price you’ve paid you don’t want to have to deal with any of that…which is why I say you’re defiantly paying for the technology more so than the suitcase.All in all in am VERY pleased with my suitcase and the claims made about it and I am overwhelming impressed with the attentiveness of customer service and making sure I was taken care of. If you can get past the limitations I’ve explained then I think this would be a great investment.

It is a very high tech gadget and impressive to alot of peopleNow after 6mos the battery will not recharge and a replacement is not available

Well battery doesn’t take electric charge. Without the battery, nothing work.

The suitcase is amazing the looks at the airport are worth it alone. I walked the airport for over 4 hours and the battery was still at 75% I have not used the charging feature yet. It follows very well and it has not run into anything or anyone. Once you install he app you don't even need to open the app to use the suitcase in order it to follow you. Just raise the bar tap the button on the side handle to lower the follow wheels and it will just start following you. Glad I purchased it.

A horrible product does not work at all and I am returningDocumentation is unclear and inaccurate

The inner lining is held on with cheap glue that came undone & ruined some clothes. I’m trying to figure out how to fix it now without shipping this thing back to china. Poor quality, cool idea.
