Custom fabricated mounting bracket for the Baofeng UV5R and UV82 line of radios including Rugged Radios model RH5R. This universal metal bracket allows you to mount your Baofeng radio in your car or truck, buggy, Jeep, Side x Side and many more options. It comes with a 1/4-20 nut welded to the back for use with RAM style mounts. It can also be welded on or bolted to something, there are many possibilities. Nut welded on back of holster is definitely not 1/4 20. More like metric machine screw size - M19? Come on guys, some of us really depend on accurate descriptions to make our projects work.

Wrong nut size
I bought this thinking I could use it with my ram mount adapters but it is the wrong thread for the 1" ball mounts.

Two problems but overall a good product.
Really nice piece but two things are wrong. First, the threaded bung isn't 1/4", it 6mmx1. So order a 6mm thread ram ball.Second is that it doesn't work if you are using any sort of extended battery. It won't let the belt clip lock in if you do.
