Makes my computer hibernate randomly
This battery fits in my computer. It's a little tighter than OEM, but it latches and locks in fine. I followed the instructions that came with the battery to do a complete discharge and charge before using the battery normally. This worked fine. Battery life is during discharge was okay. It did not last as long as the original, but that was fine for me.My problem is that after a few days of use, it started to make my computer hibernate randomly. Often after only a few minutes of use. It's the kind of hibernation that is supposed to happen automatically just before a battery dies (in order to save your work). Under normal operation, I have my computer set to never sleep, hibernate, turn off, etc. What's also weird is it does this when the battery is at 100% charge, and the laptop is plugged in to AC power. There is no reason to hibernate in this case, especially when plugged in. I performed several tests, leaving the laptop powered on without the battery installed (only AC power) and with the battery installed (still on AC power). Installing the battery always results in the random hibernation. I have an HP Pavilion 17-G127CL.

Won't hold charge
Battery frequency won't charge, when it does it dies very quickly. Shuts off at random times even though it's charged and I've lost all my work more than once. Finally caved and purchased an HP battery for significantly more, but the extra money is worth it

I ordered a battery and it didn't seem to last long. Seller, then sent me another one and the second battery works great. Would definately order from this seller again and highly recommend them.

laptop replacement battery
The first one I received did not charge. I contacted the company and am very pleased with their quick response. They replaced the defective battery quickly. I have not had any problems with the new battery.
