SunBusters Girls Reversible Bucket Hat, UPF 50+ Sun Protection Sun Hat

This is the cutest little hat. I bought it for my 4 year old niece who absolutely loves it. The material is nice and it is perfect for the beach! She even wears it when it rains sometimes. Her head circumference was the bigger end of the medium and would have fit, but I chose to order the large size. It's a little big, which I anticipated, but figured she would be able to use it for awhile without growing out of it. Plus I figured if she ever wore her hair up, there would be room for her ponytail or bun to fit inside the hat as well. The only slight downside is that the brim is kind of long/big and tends to comes down right in her eyes which blocks her sight. I know that it is made to keep the sun out of her face so it is more than likely caused by the hat being slightly big for her at this moment. She just wets the hat in the water and that helps it sit on her head without moving out of place. I highly reccommend purchasing this hat though if you are looking for something cut and practical for sun protection!

Love the pattern, adorable. Love the little tie as it helps it stay in place as she plays. Bought this to protect my 3 year old's "part" from getting sunburned and may have to get another design as well... Right now she is a medium. Wish I would have found this last summer!**Update 6/22/14: The hat is still in perfect shape except for the seam where the two fabrics are sewn together. This is now pulling apart. I attempted to mend the area which is several inches long, but the thread continues to pull right through. Despite this, I am ordering another hat. These dry quickly and are comfortable for her. $20 for a new hat 1-2x per year is something I will put up with but I do wish it would have stayed together at least until she outgrew it! She is now 4 and I am having trouble locating a girls' pattern available in "large," and since the medium still looks good, I will stick with it.

Panama is good. 4 stars because the color was not exactly the one i ordered . I ordered blue inside but got pink one. Material is not cotton. Its like a swimwear material with something inside. Look solid but i expected something light weight - 1 layer of cotton. This is not the case. Although probably even better. But i still looking for a cotton 1 layer one

I ordered this hat in size medium for my three year old girl with head circumference of 20.5". It fits snug. I should of went with size large. It was my mistake. I tried to measure her head when sleeping and I measured it wrong (19"). Just for curiosity I stuck the hat on my eight year old son with head circumference of 20.25" and it fit much better (he would need size large too). The hat is very lite, swim like material and my daughter loves it.

I just bought two of these hats: 1 large for my 6YO and 1 medium for my 3YO. The medium is a little big for my younger daughter, and the large seems to fit my older daughter well. I like how wide the brim is and how much of their face it covers. We'll see if it gets too floppy once they're wearing them in the water though, but at least the brim can also fold up if it's blocking their vision too much. The pattern is cute and the drawstring is great too.

This hat not only gives my granddaughter protection., but looks adorable and washes well!

Beautiful hat! Keeps the sun off of my 4 year old's face and neck. First I ordered the large because my daughter's head is 19.5 " but it was way too big so I got the medium and it fits perfectly. Not too tight but still room to grow into. The strap with the toggle is great because it keeps the hat from blowing away on a windy day. We keep the toggle loose so the strap won't bother her neck. The hat will blow off her head but will stay hung around her neck because of the strap.

This hat works perfectly for my toddler and is cute and UPF 50+ which is great for parents and kids. Love that it's reversible and while the fabric is a little less stiff (floppier) than our other hats, it still holds shape well and is easy to carry in a pocket or bag. (Brim is a little more stiff, which is great for the visor.) And this material does dry out very quickly which is handy. Had one problem, the drawstring clip breaking after only a few uses, but our seller (Plangea) offered prompt and helpful customer service so I would definitely recommend them and shop with them again.
