Historical fiction, just right for 3rd grade read aloud.

Great Book!! Read this book with a 5th grade book club group at my daughter's school. They loved it!! It was such a nice break from the typical dystopian novels that kids are reading today. This book is best for 5th grade and up. Lots of characters to keep track of and a more serious story than Julie Andrew's other novels. Highly recommend !!

I thought I could read this with my 6 yr old but it's too much drama and I will wait till he's older since it's sort of a murder mystery at least that is what I caught in beginning.

There aren't that many stories of the IW that I have found, but this was a good one, and yes, I'm over 13, but still enjoyed this book. I passed it on to a friend who has an Irish Wolfhound to share the joy of the book

Cute quick read. Dragon reminds me of loyal dogs I've known in the past. Now I want to investigate the historical background she used to write this story.

Never being a big reader this book has peaked my interest in the world of reading, and seeing where someone else's imagination can take me. Loved it and would definitely recommend purchasing for your up and coming book worm!!

A wonderful book. So wonderfully written. This lady is a treasure no matter what she offers to her audience...be they children or adult.

This is a good read for children who enjoy mid-evil times in reading. The main charters are great and that is what make this a great read.
