Asterix and Obelix All at Sea: Album #30 (Asterix, 30)

The condition was just ok, pages would be coming off very soon. Besides if you are an old timer Asterix fan, it didn't have the lavel of quality in story. Didn't realize this was after the original writer passed away and is written by the illustrator/graphics person.

The book had several plots that would each have made fine books, perhaps even great ones, but instead they were all crammed together with nothing well fleshed out. Also, there were some instances where a comment made by a character didn't sound like something the character might typically say. It was a less-than-satisfying book, but not poor enough to merit only three stars.

Gave these books to some junior high kids. They not only loved the graphic story, but also enjoyed the sprinkeling of Latin throught. Nearly all continued learning through Latin classes at school. A superior intro to our Mother Tongue as well as a thoroughly interesting comic book series for its own sake.

i am an asterix fan. i collect all the books, preferably in harcover. this one is as good as the rest. i wish the series didnt end...

We ordered this book for our boys, along with several other Asterix books, it arrived in great condition and our boys loved it!

As a long-time fan of the Asterix books I really liked this story. It's funny, highly entertaining and finally answers a question that's been bothering readers like me for years; what would happen if Obelix drank the magic potion? It also has some nice continuity with the lovely Panacea (from Asterix the Legionary) having a cameo appearance. If you're a fan of Asterix you'll like this.

Usual good quality book

My kids love it a lot.

Asterix is a classic every child should enjoy his antics. The play on words used when naming the characters makes the reader think. Great fun!

Bought these for my little lad, shame he cant read them yet, thats my excuse anyway.
