Definitely recommend!! Easy to do!!
This is a great product you guys! Do not hesitate to buy if you're looking for a reasonably priced fix for a worn out steering wheel. It feels and looks great, grips to your hands when you drive and easy to install. I'm a woman and I found it very easy to do!! Just take your time and if this company's install video on YouTube doesn't help, there are several others out there that will! Watch them *carefully* and take your time and it really is easy. A couple people commented on the needle not being the right needle for the job. I disagree. The problem is that your fingers get a little raw from doing the threading. (Use a thimble or put Band-Aids on the pads of your thumb and pointer fingers.) The only time you have to go through the leather is when you start and end each section. So it's not like you have to puncture the leather with the needle every single time. They give you two needles and I highly suggest you switch out half way through. All in all, taking my time, it took about an hour to install. Looking at some of the pictures on here, I would almost swear that they are competitors writing negative reviews. The picture of the grey cover that's haphazardly sewn...they CLEARLY didn't take their time or follow instructions. The pic of the tear in the cover...no way. This stuff is super sturdy and I stretched the heck out of it.

Very nice
Originally got a leather cover type to avoid the stitching hassle. But material was too hard and made the steeling wheel feel too thick. The leather of this product feels nice and soft. It also gives a good grip. It does take some patient to do the stitching but the result looks good.

Excellent value, feels nice
Great bang for your buck. Excellent quality and leather feel. The perforations do make a difference in how cooler your steering wheel feels, I wish it had more perforations throughout the leather though. I do wish they had more color options, but I do like the color on my truck. (I would love an army green leather wrap with full perforations!!!!) Easy to install but please follow the directions and stitch correctly as I saw some negative reviews however in their picture it was evident they did not follow the correct steps. Make sure you stick thru the stitching already on the leather. I used a nylon green thread to give the stitch a bit of contrast however wish i bought a thicker thread (however it is strong enough to hold). Another tip, if you are using this on a warn out steering wheel it will improve the stiffness of your wheel, If you do this make sure you stitch tightly as the more tightly it is wrapped the more it will improve the stiffness of your steering wheel.Negative: This item does have some chemical odor when first opened (most likely from the dye's) , I allowed it to sit for a few days before I installed to let it gas out which got rid of most of the odor, but a few more days later (after install) it just smells like leather.

Time consuming to install, but huge improvement
The good: The leather is soft, has some stretch to it to conform to your steering wheel, and has consistent, even color across the entire piece. Looks great when finished. The bad: No instructions come with it, so you have to go online to see how to install. It is very time consuming, takes a couple hours at least. The ugly: It is very hard on your fingers. I highly recommend a heavy thimble, or something hard with a rough texture (so it doesn't slide off and jab your thumb) to help push the needle through the holes. Also, you might want to cover your fingers with strips of duct tape to help grip the needle to pull it through. Even then, your fingers will be a bit sore the next day.All in all, a good quality product at a good price.

I Wish I had done this sooner
I started with an expensive, one-piece wheel cover that slipped over the top, but it was bulky, especially on top of the already bulky steering wheel. It looked cheap but I had to do something. I gave the leather cover a try because it was thinner and at the very worst it might look old school. It took some patients, but it wasn't hard, and it looks and feels far, far better than just the stock steering wheel. Even if it wasn't damaged, I wish I had done this sooner because it looks more refined. There are a number of videos online that are helpful. Before starting, be sure to wrap severely damaged areas with 3M Rubber Splice tape to fill in low spots and make everything more uniform. If you really want the finished product to look tight without wrinkles, I recommend stopping at 25% and evenly re-tightening like you would a shoelace and then Ty-wrap were you just tightened before moving on. You should end up with a tight, smooth professional look that's more refined and richer than the stock steering wheel.

Good product
Good quality. Ease of installation has to do with your patience, not with the product.

Beautiful, however color does not last
I had a different steering wheel wrap that was not perforated (see my other review), so I replaced it with this one. This feels softer, stretches easier, and has more grip. I also like that the seam is folded in with hidden stitches. I wanted to do black thread cross stitch on beige leather so I removed the edge threading, used black waxed thread and sharper threading needles. Using thicker prewaxed thread makes installation easier. It took me 2 hours to finish, but Was very happy with the final result.I cut two strings each 3 times the circumference of the steering wheel. At first I was going to start and end at the 12 o'clock point, but what I did is thread both strings at the 6 o'clock point, pulled the string through to the middle so I can thread each half of the leather separately. That way I don't have to deal with a long string, and risk tangling and knotting. I threaded the one half all the way to 12 o'clock, then did the other half, pulling hard enough on the leather to fold the edges in and create a nice 3D look. Finally I tied both ends and tucked under the leather.Edit:Color does not last. After few months it started peeling off and showing base color. This is unfortunate since I loved this cover

Medium was a little tight for ford edge but made it work
It looks ok for the price I thought it was a bit small but I did the thread needle job and made it tight I would show a pic but no place to add one here overall for the ford edge it was tight but worked let see how long but for a smaller wheel medium would be good
