LG SPK8 Loudspeaker wireless rear Speaker Kit for SL10YG, SL9YG, SL8YG, SL6YF, SL5Y, SL4Y, SK10Y, SK9Y, GX 140W - black

i have a LG OLED55C24LA smart tv, with a LG SP8YA sound bar, i have since obtained the LG Electronics SPK8 kabellos speaker system. i have looked everywhere for these rear speakers, they are discontinued, i found them on amazon at what i was a fair price. As in other reviews there were from germany & i had to wait a couple of weeks for them, the receiver has a UK 3 pin plug, i simply wired the speakers to the receiver plugged it in & it paired up with the sound bar, i am pleasantly surprised with the result. lg have a sound bar app where you can alter the settings on the rear speakers, which is very useful.

Works a treat, easy to install, and adds to the surround experience.Not completely wireless, the speakers are wired to the receiver unit, but the receiver is connected wirelessly to the sound bar, and as stated in other reviews, was supplied with a continental two pin plug, not a UK plug. Would have been nice if an adapter had been included, but I had one from an old VHS player, so not a problem.The speakers are quite small and discrete, feel quite weighty, and if you choose could be wall mounted, but the wall mounting kit is not included.My main complaint, is that you don't get much for your money. The speakers are just single driver units in a small plastic box, connected to a wireless router with built in amplifier. Up close they sound quite tinny. As part of the wider surround experience that isn't an issue, and you don't notice that these are pretty basic loudspeakers.

Easy to set up and the sound for me is just right...Have been using for some weeks now and so i can say in all honesty that i have tested these over a period of time..If you are looking for small rear speakers these will do you just fine..

Great speakers complemented my LG sound perfectly. These speakers were in short supply in UK, had on order with Richer sound previously then got email saying they were being discontinued, even though Sound bar was brand new. Found this supplier on Amazon coming from Germany, we had some issues with courier, but seller kept me informed all the way, when they arrived they even offered some compensation for the delay, great work Kazhar and team at Tecnologia Mercator Tedesco 👏 thx Phil S - Essex UK

First up... as another reviewer has mentioned this product came equipped with a continental plug (2-pin European type) despite having been purchased from Amazon UK itself and not a market vendor. There's no mention of the non-UK plug in the description.Fortunately I had a travel adapter with a UK plug so I've just used that.Without these rear speakers my LG Dolby Atmos Soundbar sounded just OK. It did an alright job of trying to make the sound feel like it was coming from different places, but struggled with throwing anything behind you. It was better than the TV speakers and gave some approximation of surround sound with 3D sound at the front, but was nothing mind blowing (like Dolby Atmos should be).If I hadn't bought the rear speakers I'd have been a bit disappointed with the soundbar (especially as I have a much more expensive 'separates' Atmos system, so know what to expect). This soundbar was destined for a different room!Adding the rear speakers is a game changer, and the difference it makes to the sound stage is considerable. It is a shame a lot of people will be missing out on this since they won't want to spend another £150 on them.It is worth every penny though, as it turns what feels like a struggling soundbar into a truly surprising Dolby Atmos solution.For some reason my soundbar had the rear speakers set to their minimum volume by default - which sounded rubbish - but as soon as I realised the problem and adjusted the levels properly it turned into something spectacular!

Works well. Great soundAlso came with UK adapter.Pity price was higher since LG discontinued item. Was only place available new.
