I have had moderate to severe back pain for some years now, with the last few months stubbornly holding in the severe category so I began to suspect it was time to update my bed and mattress.I purchased a very expensive name brand gel infused memory foam mattress and the appropriate metal platform frame and was waking up with, not worse back pain but a different kind of pain and was so disappointed that I had spent a ton of money on something I wasn't going to be able to use. Then one night I woke up tossing, turning and drenched in sweat and realized my restlessness was due to my mattress retaining heat even though this mattress boasted "cool sleep" in its features.I did a lot of reading and decided to try a cooling mattress pad before hauling my new bed into the guest room and after reading hundreds of reviews I decided to go with this one and it was the right choice! I have been sleeping great, even under a blanket.It's well worth the investment, arrived quickly and customer service was prompt to reach out and make sure I was happy with my purchase.If your memory foam mattress is sleeping hot, this is the solution!

My memory foam finally sleeps cool like a spring mattress! The foam no longer stays hot and miserable where I am laying and I haven't been woken up from overheating. I was apprehensive with it being only 20% Coolmax & 80% cotton, but it's working! The pad covers the top of my mattress perfectly. My mattress is 12" in height and was very easy to put on. It machined washed nicely to the washing instructions. Very pleased thus far, great purchase!

I live in Tucson AZ, in the summer the daily temps run in the 100's and at night the temp drop to a low of about 80, so it's just always hot. A few years ago I went and bought a top of the line memory foam with cooling gel. Every night, even in the winter I wake up sweating because the foam just holds the heat so before I got rid of my mattress I figured I would give this pad a try. I've had it now for over a week and we are in the dead of summer and not once have I woke up hot or had any sweat under my body. AMAZING ((cartwheels)) I had the best sleep since getting this pad, I can't recommend it more. If you are hot when you sleep or you have a memory foam mattress this pad is a must!!!

I had a mattress cover that could not be washed. At some point, I just had to get rid of it - if I'd tried washing it, it would have fallen into a million pieces. So, I started looking for an affordable cover that didn't cause me to perspire heavily all the livelong night. This is it - this is the one! I bought 2 others that didn't work, but this fits better, is more comfortable to lie on, was affordable, and gives a small cooling effect. I will buy this again in whatever year it gives up on me - I expect to have it for a long, long time!

I received the item this morning and was hopeful to find some relief from the hot/warm memory foam on my bed. I was very disappointed. I live in Puerto Rico where it's hot all year round. I have a window A/C which cools just my bedroom, which means the cool air is not dissipated throughout my apartment. I looked through Amazon's cooling mattress pads and decided to try this one. It does not work. I had a horrible first night, to the point in which I got out of bed to remove the mattress pad. The memory foam felt cooler than the pad. I intend to return the item. Very dissatisfied.

After the 6th wash this pad completely fell apart. Its on a spare bed, so doesn't get much use. The cheap one from Walmart laster years and was much better than this.

My body temperature skyrockets when I sleep. I couldn't sleep well because of needing to have the room at least 60 degrees but also needing to have the feeling of covers on me. I would wake up drenched, hot, but also chilly. After doing much research, I changed what kind of bedding I was using. First I went with this cooling mattress pad (Allrange Breathable Coolmax Quilted Mattress Pad). It doesn't have a special "cooling" feature, except for the fact that what it's made of helps to distribute the heat your body creates. For sheets I chose bamboo sheets from Hotel Sheets Direct. Bamboo also helps to distribute body heat. I added the Since Silk comforter- it also distributes your heat. It is made with 100% mulberry silk filling and has a cotton cover. Lightweight and breathable, yet it contours to the body, so there are no "cold air pockets". It is great for summer, and if warmer is preferred/needed, they recommend using two inside your duvet cover. For the duvet cover, I again went with a bamboo one from Hotel Sheets Direct. Lastly, I chose the lovely lightweight muslin blanket from NTBay- it is perfect for just a little more warmth/decoration on top of the duvet. The very first night that I put all these items together on my bed was AMAZING...all the issues I used to have have been eliminated! I have washed all bedding items (except the comforter) on cold and dried on low. All do shrink some. I have a full size bed and bought the mattress cover and sheets in the full size, the comforter, duvet cover, and this gauze blanket in queen size. Hope this review is helpful to others!

My partner and I had been struggling with heat retension in our memory foam mattress for about a year since we bought it. I did a lot of research to find this mattress protector. It had good reviews and seemed appropriate for us. We were pleasantly surprised to find it has made a difference to the heat problem with our mattress, particularily in the Summer months. It has cut the heat retension down by about 50-70%. Don't expect miracles, but do expect a noticable difference. I will recommend to a friend with the same problem. It fit our thick mattress (spring matttess with attached topper) well.
