Harvard
"I loved this set of books. I learned a lot. Now I understand why it's important to study at a prestigious university such as Harvard University. Learning is a privilege, and learning from the best professors and academics is an even greater privilege."

Very Insightful
As an engineer, and most engineers can relate probably, I am very curious about how other branches of knowledge organize and work through their particular problems, both because engineering benefits greatly from understanding several problem domains, making you more versatile as a problem solver, and partly because you can translate understanding and knowledge from other areas to your own. This set comprises six books, each focused on a particular topic, but all from the point of view of a business owner or manager. There are a lot of mini processes embedded throughout the essays (each book has 11 essays iirc, the 10 must read and one 'extra'), with several case studies illustrating them - or whatever point the authors are trying to make, which will give you a better understanding of how this are used in real life.Of course, this is a book and a lot of subtleties will be removed from the case studies, either because the authors took the liberty to simplify the case to make it more palatable to the intended audience, or because they actually haven't been extremely familiar throughout the whole development (ie, sometimes they use as example CEO transitions and say, since the new CEO applies this principle - or viceversa, since the new CEO ignores it - this or that happens... but this is in a period of maybe 8-10 years). So far i haven't had the time to go through the whole series, i've read about half of it fully and have had the chance to discuss some of the books with friends, and we all agree that they possess great insights (we're all engineers, so your mileage might vary)

PRICELESS INFORMATION/EDUCATION for the BUSINESS OWNER
Perfectly packaged and shipped quickly and professionally, product themselves are basically better than a Master's Degree as they skip through years of schooling and many many thousands of dollars, all while allowing you to get the best advice and learning materials from an assortment of individuals who could all be keynote speakers at Ivy League schools and Fortune 100 companies (and probably are), essentially giving you practical and priceless information to give you an idea where you need to focus on and can then learn as you go. As a new inheritor of a small manufacturing business, with no college degree, it was pretty intimidating to come in and have the confidence that the changes I saw needed were indeed going to be beneficial, and even if I knew they needed to be made, what was the best way to do it? These are helping me to gain the reasons WHY and HOW to WHAT needs to be done, learning as I go along and business is starting to pick up, and a new energy is starting to spark the flames of production at Erie Energy Products INC. We make the worlds finest cellulose insulation, using basically old newspapers that would otherwise be trash, into a safe, non-toxic, non irritating product with superior fire resistance and insulation R-Values than the F word: fiberglass. {{shudders at mental image of falling in attic into the pink death}} =)[...]

The best of Harvard Business Review of the last 10 years. What more reason do you need??
It's the best articles of the Harvard Business Review from the last 10-15 years or so. Do you really need another reason to get this and read it? If not, you're either a natural, or you have no idea how to succeed in business (and I'm guessing it's the latter).

Essential Reading for Any Professional
The Harvard Business Review is essential reading for any mid/upper level manager. This box set is a great start to get you going. The articles are thought provoking and urge you to raise your 'game' to another level. I'm using the lessons I find in these articles on a near daily basis.Set aside time in your work day (or in your off time) to read these. The articles are not, however, 'light'. Be sure to remove distractions and focus on the content. Your career will see the benefits.

Useful collection for MBA courses.
For those, like me, who prefer paper instead of online reading, the value for your money is great with this set. Of course the paper is the grainy, cheap quality, and the cardboard “case” around the books is as this as a Kleenex box, but I wanted a money saving option to own all of these articles without f these books.
