I purchased this series for our Christian middle school library. I have girls who are looking for Christian teen fiction. I was very disappointed - the books are good but the themes are more appropriate for upper high school than for the middle school students I had in mind. The descriptive passages of trying to give herself to a boy, of not turning down the drinks offered by her friends, and of sexual assault are not something Christian young ladies in middle school should be exposed to and something to which some parents would object. When I look for books for my early teen girls - I look for books with positive role models - Payton Skky fails in that role.

My 14 year old has a hard time finding books that she is interested in and when she asked me about this series and I saw what kind of books they were, I got them for her birthday. I have never seen her stay focused on any books the way she is on these. She is constantly reading. We love the fact that they deal with a lot of the things that teenagers are going through and it is easy for them to relate to whats going on in the books. I have not read them yet but I plan on reading them. I would recommend these books.

It was amazing . reminds me so much of myself! & all that I go through .. I don't need to worry about relationships right now , the right one will love me for me . Saving myself is going to pay off in the end . Finishing high school and going to college is all that should matter . let's me know that even when I think I'm alone I'm not and as long as I keep Christ first I can endure whatever comes my way . I recommend every young lady to read this series .

I thoroughly enjoyed the books and some of the situational descriptions were very thought provoking. Those descriptions included ideas that apply to life, even if you are not a teenager. I purchased them for my two teen grand-daughters and I plan to use them for our own private book club. I hope that other books will be added to this series.
