This is a great back-pack. It's very sturdy and feels good quality, it's light for its size and I love all the mesh panels and pockets - it's very well thought out. My dog is a 7kg miniature poodle and unfortunately it transpires that he doesn't like this particular mode of transport, possibly because he can't see me (you can wear it on your front but it's not really practical that way) Although he will put up with it and is very safely contained and doesn't try to escape, he doesn't enjoy it which was the whole point of the purchase so we don't use it any more. My advice to potential buyers would be to try one before you buy if possible. This problem is completely down to my dog's personal preferences and is nothing at all to do with the backpack, I will be passing mine on to someone with a less anxious, more out-going pooch and I'm sure they'll get years of use out of it. In summary - as long as your dog can cope with being transported 'behind' you and is comfortable with the inevitable walking motion, buy this back-pack, it's fab!

It's an amazing bag, goot quality. But it's probably small for my dog. My dog weighs about 9 kgs and a small breed a Westiepoo he can only sit and have his head out we can't zip it as it's small for my dog

This bag was great for our 5kg chihuahua. We used it to take him to the vet and collect him after when he was still sleepy from anaesthetic. He seemed to not mind being in there and just laid down and looked out the window. The bottom is very sturdy and we put a blanket too to make it a bit cosier for him.Would definitely recommend this for anyone with a small dog or cat. Also the straps are really comfortable and it feels very secure.

This tilts slightly when on my back carrying my cat. But I appreciate that's mostly due to the fact I have a part Norwegian forest cat - so he's very big. Hence the need for a backpack as he's too heavy for a normal case.Great that it's got covers for the mesh windows as he gets a bit car sick so he can have them down or up.It's a great travel backpack that's lightweight and comfy for the cat.
