ApexHorizon Scope Mounts, Low Profile Scope Rings for 22MM Picatinny Rail（2 Pieces）

I've been competing in PRS and F-Class long range rifle competitions for 7 years and I own or have owned many high end rifles, scopes, rings etc. I recently purchased a Cabela's Covenant 7 8x34x56 rifle scope which has a 34mm main body tube. 34mm rings are more expensive than 1 inch and 30mm rings. I was building a rifle for my son who tends to lose interest in things quickly. I didn't want to put a lot of money into this rifle and it end up a safe queen. Much to my surprise not only did these rings hold up to recoil without coming loose, they also never lost zero. After showing my son how to zero and track his scope he shot a 1.34 m.o.a. group at 1000 yards and was hooked! Now he's shooting sub m.o.a. and is learning hand loading. Had the rings or any other aspect of his rig been bad he would probably have lost interest. These are good rings especially for the price.

I bought these to hold a round battery pack for my thermal and they do well for that but will wiggle loose on a .308 AR 10 so check them often

Good flexibility with tube sizes with the inserts. Inserts would be better if they were softer rubber instead of hard plastic.

DO NOT USE ON AN AR-15! I bought these to hold a scope on my AR. The profile is too low for the scope. These mounts are great quality and are easy to install.
