Peel is too thick at a little over 1/2". Needs to cut down to about 1/4" to be more useful. It is cheap and sturdy though, so can't complain too much.

Perfect Peel for a Napoli Pizza Oven
I bought this peel to launch my prepared pizza dough into my Napoli Pizza Oven. The peel is very sturdy, the edges are tapered and the handle is comfortable to hold. I prepare my pizza dough on a bamboo cutting board and transfer it to the peel. I prep the peel with a light dusting of flour and the dough slides right off. I don’t recommend using this peel to remove the pizza. IMO, a metal peel or long metal spatulas are the best removal tools.

Life saver!!
So glad I came across these when I got my new pizza stones!! Bought two so we can make two pies at once. Very sturdy, fairly easy to clean and they look gorgeous!! Very happy so far!!

It works
good size, I wanted something a bit bigger but they are hard to find. This has held up well and is quite sturdy. Works well if you need to use for a boboli or frozen pizza. I'd like it more if the diameter was maybe 1 inch laarger -- once you cut your pizza and it spreads out, not a lot of room.

Wooden Peels are Great for Building and Launching
This pizza peel is great for building pizzas and launching pizzas (placing them into the oven). It can be very hard to get your dough to not stick to the wood on this peel, even with cornmeal to help it slide off. I often use the parchment paper method. Wood peels shouldn't be used for retrieving your pie from the oven, metal only.This is a good peel and I'd definitely recommend it. Just be mindful that raw dough likes to stick to the wood.

Too heavy
This is a very sturdy peel, but I found it too heavy to maneuver. I offered it to 2 different people who at first were very happy about it, but immediately found it too heavy.

Showpiece
This is a very good looking pizza peel. It is just as the picture depicts in shape and is a good solid piece of wood. I was a little disappointed in the size but that was my fault for not noticing the dimensions given. It is just big enough for most store bought frozen pizzas. I'll use this often for pizza as well as cheese and crackers, etc., it's just that good looking!

Love it! Don’t hesitate to buy if you’re looking for a wood or bamboo pizza peel. I keep this one displayed on my countertop as I like the look of it so much regardless of how well it works.
