Almost Perfect
Awesomesauce!First I will say that its smaller than it looks in the photos. I originally thought it would be about the size of a Coke can but its actually about half that size. More like a can of V8 maybe a little smaller even. I would definitely take this thing backpacking with me no problem. Hang it on your pack and you wouldn't even notice its there. The 40 lumen low setting is plenty to illuminate a tent or small room in your house to see what your doing or find your way around. 400lumen high mode is about equivalent to turning the light on in your house. I'd say the medium setting would be sufficient to play cards in the dark at a picnic table or give you enough light to bait hooks for fishing. The 2 downward settings are roughly equivalent to the overhead map lights you'd find in a vehicle or on an airplane, not too bright and wont disturb anyone around you but enough to read.Fit and finish is good, it feels solid and well made. I love that I can just swap 18650 batteries. Definitely doesn't feel cheap. Well worth the hefty price tag. Definitely glad I bought it.The only complaint that I have for it is that you have to cycle through all the modes to get to the low power downward beams. That might be inconvenient if you wake up your partner in the tent flashing them with high mode trying to get to your reading light mode. It would be nice if it had memory or if you could just double tap from the off position to get to that without having to cycle all the way through.

Needs Separate switch for The flashlight mode.
I like the fact that when you turn on it starts on Low.Don’t like that you have to shuffle from low to high before getting to the The flashlight mode. flashlight should’ve had a separate switch for that. Also after going back to lantern what supposed to be a front facing light only he is actually shining back in your face. Should be facing away from your eyes. Lastly the red light should’ve been Brighter or adjustable.

Well Worth The Price
This thing is SWEET. We were nervous about the price for the size, but it puts off SO much light and lasts for so long. We used it on a cross country camping trip and charged it maybe once? Fair warning: it is definitely a white spectrum light, so it does attract a lot of moths (and thus, bats). I would love to see them come out with one with a warmer light for a little more ambiance but otherwise this is amazing. Would buy again!

this is the king of all lanterns by far
one battery lasted me the whole weekend and i used it as a nightlight and tk walk around with this is my favorite of all the lights i have now it was great using it for the three familys to eat at night and was fine for personal usethe magnet on it sucks it will hold it but a little bump will knock it offi put 5 fifty coord on the metal holder to spin it in circles but swinging it makes it turn off. the bottom reading lights are completely uselessi have not tried dunking it in water but it did last in a moist tent from the dew and rain was not issueyou wont regret getting this light its the best and smallest lantern i ever had

nice lamp! quite bright but the red light is only really usable for basic things
Nice light to carry if you need to set something next to you in order to do something that requires light.Plastic body is deceivingly weighty for the size, feels like good quality in my opinion (haven't heavily dropped the item yet though)Battery life definitely gets the job done if you don't keep it on at fullbright for extended periods. I've fallen asleep with this thing on and it was still on in the morning. Can get hot if you keep it at fullbright though and the redlight is only usable if you want to leave a room without walking into something or stepping on something painful. (i cannot for the life of me use the redlight for things like writing in the dark)normal light is good for writing though!bye :)

Incredible lantern
I guess I didn't look at the pictures very closely and did not realize how small the lantern would be. I was bemused when I opened the package to find such a tiny lantern but after turning it on and testing it out, I was blown away! I got this lantern in case there's a blackout in my area and this will definitely serve the purpose of lighting up whatever room I'm in in my apartment if the need arises.I like all the various modes and settings for the lantern but I do agree with other reviews that it's kind of annoying to have to cycle through them, a second button would be very welcome.

Item is about the size of the original V8 vegetable juice can (FOR THOSE WHO GO WAY BACK)
I first bought this item last month. I was so impressed and pleased of the performance and construction that I decided to buy another. It's as advertised and then some. Very bright and reliable so you always know you're never in the dark wherever you go. It's money well spent so you won't be disappointed. Great product

Great little lantern
For being such a small lantern, it puts out a great amount of light. I picked it up to have during storm season in case we had any power outages. I tested it out in a few rooms at night and it lights the whole place up, especially on its highest setting. It's great for something that literally fits in your palm.
