ZLINE 30 in. Designer Series Wall Mount Range Hood (KB2-HBXXX-30)

I have now owned this for 3 years. The product description was inaccurate and the hood vent I received was no where near the color of copper. It was more like a Nacho Cheese Dorito. I immediately contacted the company and I was told there was nothing they could or would do.

The big problem with this hood is the color is not even close to the online images. (See pics below). Since it is not copper, it doesn't have the patina. It is basically painted orange and black and much brighter. Maybe they forgot to antique it. Contacted the company and they responded promptly saying I could return the hood, but we decided to keep it and refinish it. Still in that process, so we have not installed it yet. Installation seems simple enough, and well thought out. Overall quality seems good as well.FOLLOW UP: We gilded the hood and antiqued it to match the color online. Also added our own customization. Installation was easy, and very quiet on the 1st 2 settings.

Exactly as pictured and it looks great!! It did arrive with a minor scratch @ front trim ... will try some remedies to cover it up... looks amazing!!
