Solid construction, very well machined. Must follow the instruction very carefully- particularly the additional enclosed (and hand signed) installation tip to spray the anchor bolts generously with oil lubricant to ease with installation. I was anchoring through tile and then into floor joists - the telltale "screech" of the bolt under stress as it penetrated those materials disappeared as I sprayed with the oil lube during screwing down. Had I not read the insert instructions, I'm afraid the bolt might have sheared off - which would have started a whole new chapter! This is one SOLIDLY anchored security device. My only regret was that the popular black, dark nickel, and white finishes are apparently very popular and not in stock - but the strength/construction was more important to me than the finish color.

I returned this because it didn’t work on my particular set up but I noticed it was well made and customer service while returning was amazing

We had been looking for a securi lock for our sliding door, and this was the ticket. Sturdy, well made, and it looks much better than a piece of wood, or one of the metal bars.
