How to Draw Fast Cars, Monster Trucks, & Fighter Jets Paperback – October 1, 2000

I purchased this for my 7.75 year old boy who loves to draw. He loves the book and it has helped him greatly in his drawings.

I got this for my husband to add to his collection of books about cars and give ideas for drawings. He has been happy with it.

I am a professional illustrator and was looking for a cool drawing book for my son. I came across this book at the library and thought "I would love to see if this has some good tips or even neat tricks with drawing cars." After the first page, I quickly learned that no, it's not a book that teaches anyone how to draw cars, but rather tells you about the cars you'd like to draw.So if your kids like cars, cool they'll like this. If your kids or anyone else wants to actually DRAW cars, stay away from this book. There are much better resources out there.

Well written and incredible drawings. Anybody who likes to move around in something with a motor will love this book. Of course most kids who love cars grow up into adults who love cars. I enjoyed this book as much as my 13 year old son.

I was dissapointed this came up under drawing books for children; the content is inappropriate for kids. For example, chase scenes with guns and shooting. Book does not show many steps how to draw the cars. For adults who have drawing skills.

Just with all of Hart's books this book cover is misleading.You look at the cover and think I'm really going to learn something and you read the book and get disappointed.He only shows the finnished step.He doesn't show the steps on how to get to the finnished step.Instead of describing how he draws it he gives you a history on each car.I'm sorry but telling a person the car history doesn't show them how to draw the car.I'm starting to think that Hart's books aren't very good.

Chris Hart authors a lot of cartoon-type drawing instruction books, and this one dealing with cars and planes is definitely in the graphic artist category rather than more realistic treatments. Good clear instructions, tips and examples for the young artist to learn by copying, probably more suitable for the 10-12 age range than very young children.

Was a decent book but not easy to follow

Das Buch zeigt anhand von Beispielne wie man Sportwagen malen kann.Allerdings eben nur im Cartoon Stil, wer aber Schritt für Schritt geführt werden will,ist mit etwas anderem wohl besser beraten, denn das Buch zeigt keine komplette Anleitung zu einem Bild, eben nur "Inspirationen".

Although I ordered this book in used condition for me, it was not at a saleable standard. A few minor scribbles is acceptable but pages were cut out or missing from the book which was noticeable just flicking through the pages.
