Boomile Wireless Doorbell Kit, Operating at 1000 feet, 2 Plug-In Receivers and 1 Remote Push Button, 52 Beautiful Chimes, CD Quality Sound, LED Indicator - No Batteries Required for Receiver

I recently bought the Boomile Wirekess Doorbell since our house did not come with one. Before deciding on this Doorbell I bought several from Home Depot that did not work no matter how hard I tried. So after trying these wireless, battery powered doorbells that did not work I started my search on Amazon. My mom said that she tried wireless and plug in doorbells. I chose Boomile for several reasons.Pros1) Price - this was a reasonably priced Doorbell at $24, Especially since it comes with one Doorbell and two plug in receivers.2) Functionality - the Doorbell comes in a box with instructions, a Doorbell, and two receivers. It is extremely easy to set up. Just plug and play in a sense. The Doorbell can either be stuck to the house with two sided tape or screwed into the house. I chose to use the sticky tape.3) Lights up - the Doorbell also serves as a small night light. I put one receiver upstairs and the other on the main floor. I love that the receivers light up the way when I go downstairs.Cons1) The doorbell has many different ringtones but I have yet to figure out how to set them up. I selected the tune I wanted with the up and down arrow, I have tried to hold the arrows for 3 seconds to keep the tune (which did not work) as soon as I ring the bell it keeps the manufactured setting. I have also used the up and down arrows to select the tune and then held the volume button for 3 seconds with the light staying blue, but when I pushed the doorbell it still used the standard manufactured sound.With that being said if that is the only problem I am facing with this Doorbell I am satisfied. It works and now I can hear if someone is at my door no matter where I am in my house. The doorbell works in rain or snow. It is definitely waterproof and uses solar power. I do not have to worry about changing batteries.I would recommend this Doorbell because it works. I don’t have to worry about people knocking on the door. They can ring my bell!

I purchase 2 kits (each kit comes with 2 ringers) in order to have one ringer in my basement, one ringer in my kitchen, one ringer in the living room and one ringer in the master bedroom. This way I can have the volume down on them and still hear them wherever I am so as to not wake up my grandchild when he is napping. I leave the one in the basement at full volume. It was easy to marry the ringer to the doorbells. I installed one doorbell on my front door, and one at the bottom top step of my front porch so when the porch gate is closed people can still ring the doorbell. I played around with them at first to see if I could use one pair for the back door ( with different ringtone) and one for the front door, that will work too.

Works well. We use it as a "doorbell" by our garage door, so someone can let us know when they need the garage door opened, like our son coming back from a bike ride.
