DEWALTDEWALT Dust Bag, Universal (DW7053)

Bought this hoping it would fit the upper blade guard port on my DEWALT DCS7485 8-1/4" Flexvolt table saw and it does perfectly. Makes for easier cleanup, really no dust to sweep using this and our shop vac on the lower port. Guess it would probably work on the corded DEWALT DWE7485 as well as the blade guards appear the same. 5 stars for my purposes!

The plastic part is a bigger diameter, but the only thing holding the bag on is a zip tie. I just put the new bag on my original plastic/wire assembly and I’m good to go !

I received a hand me down DW705 with a busted dust collection bag from a friend. After reading all the negative reviews on amazon, I was a bit hesitant to purchase this replacement, but did go ahead nevertheless. First, the bag fits perfectly, is the same size and design than the original one and even has DeWalt written in big yellow letters all over it (not shown on picture). After working with my new old miter saw for a day, I looked into the bag and it was full of saw dust. Maybe half of the dust was not collected, but that still means that half was and for me that is better than having no a bag at all. Let's be clear, the bag simply collects the dust that is "thrown" its way by the saw as it cuts through the wood. If not all the dust is collected, it is because of this a passive collection method and NOT a feature of this specific replacement part. When cutting pressure treated wood, the intake of the bag can occasionally get clogged with the moist sawdust. Overall, I am very happy.

If your looking for the dust bag for your DW708 12" Miter Saw you've come to the right place. This DW7053 is the exact Dust Bag that originally came with the Dewalt DW708 saw. It is a OEM Dewalt part that comes in a Dewalt package. It has the Dewalt Name on the side of the black fabric bag in large Dewalt yellow letters and the zipper on the pouch works perfect for easy emptying. It also has an black plastic adapter to fit the bag onto the dust chute (the area of the saw blade cover the bag attaches to) in case you have another model saw. With the adapter it should fit lots of other models.This dust bag connector tube is just slightly larger than the dust chute on the saw so you'll need to slip the adapter on the dust bag and the other end of the adapter into the dust chute on the saw. Watch out though because the only issue I have is when I inserted the adapter into the dust chute it split (cracked) the dust chute. If you don't want to use the adapter just wrap Duct Tape around the outside of the dust chute with about 2 layers of tape and that should make a tight enough fit that the dust bag won't slide off. The bag works great and catches all the wood chips and dust as it should. Hope this helps any of you with the older DW708 saws.

This dust bag makes clean up 75% much easier than before. Emptying the bag is kind of dusty, but still very easy.

Popped right on my dewalt 780 now if we can just get dewalt to have a better dust collection system .. ya right ..Great little bag

I was worried how it could be universal since different miter saws have different diameter holes. It comes with an adapter for those cases. Works great.
