I use 18650's for Vaping. I just purchased another one, due to the one I purchased in 2018 finally gave out. When I say I used this daily, I do mean DAILY. Twice a day, I swap out 4 to 5 batteries. As much as I used it I was surprised it lasted as long as it did. This is a great product, I used this product putting batteries in and out WAY MORE than the average person. Every safety feature you need is in this device, if you put a battery in any way other than the right way, it will just blink at you. It charges batteries with reasonable speed, I have NEVER in 5 years ever felt even warm at anytime. When it stopped working, when I plugged it in, ALL the lights from all the slots were blinking, I am hoping it isn't actually broken but I do hear something loose inside, but it's 5 years old, and you wanna be safe with these things so I just bought a new one.. it was time. If you vape and use ANY battery, THIS is a great product, shop around though the price fluctuates a lot.

So ordered this on Amazon with Prime shipping. Showed up in less than 22 hours. Gotta love 1 day Prime!I have to agree with other reviews here that say the springs are amazingly tight on this unit, so make sure you hold onto your batteries when removing them or they could launch across the room!I have charged 2 batteries at once, 4 batteries at once and 6 batteries at once. It appears to charge faster with a lesser amount of batteries, but I will need to actually time it to ensure that this is a factual statement.So far after a week of operation, I have zero complaints.

This product has made it so that me and my two other roommates never have to worry about having charged batteries ready at any time. It is small and minimal, and can be set up virtually anywhere. I have always been a fan of Nitecore products, and this one is no exception. The only things that bothers me is that when it is charging batteries it will click like a clock. normal, but slightly annoying.

Package arrived in the box damaged in several places. Obvious, the product was used before I received it. Plugging it in it works - for some reasons has issues with Fenix 14600 batteries refuses to charge them but charges everything else. This charger charges and is not a disappointment it is a used product and not 'new'

Reordering this charger since my first one finally died on me. I dont know exactly how long I've had it but its been at least 6-7 years. We use this charger every day. It wont overcharge your batteries or overheat; I like that its standing and uses both sides of the charger so we can easily separate my batteries from my fiancé's, and it doesnt take to too much space. Charges 18650s quickly- taking it from 0-100% in the span of just a few hours. When searching for a new battery charger, it was a no-brainer for us to just purchase the same one again. As other reviews have mentioned, if you put the batteries in incorrectly it blinks at you and wont charge. It has so many safety features built in to keep it safe to use. Dont have anything bad to say about this charger, its top tier & a very fair price.

I had wanted a charger that would handle several AA and AAA batteries at once. The Nitecore i8 certainly does that. And the vertical orientation saves space on a tabletop. But it's not ideal for AAs and AAAs.The springs that hold the batteries in place are very strong and it can be difficult to load the charger. Also, AAs have to be carefully balanced on their end to fit in the device. Not easy to do that without knocking other batteries out of place. It's such a hassle just getting AAs inserted correctly that I wouldn't dare trying it with AAAs. Larger batteries like C and D cells may be are better suited for this charger. Possibly 18650s as well.I've had my i8 for a year or two and it still functions as intended. No complaints there. But I'm keeping my eye out for a charger that handles the same number of batteries but lies flat on a table and is less of a pain to load. Then the i8 will probably be put in a drawer and forgotten until I have some larger batteries to charge.

1st one started making super loud whining noise with a single set of batteries on it after about 2 weeks. They replaced it after fighting with them for several days. 2nd one stopped working all together out of nowhere after about 4 months. Only ever used it to charge a single set, sometimes 2 sets of batteries and it didn't even make it half a yr. Save your money and buy something else. They don't back their products and will force you to deal with the manufacturer which is a pain all in itself.
