I am a skeptic. That is what keeps me from dropping huge bucks on some very swanky skin creams I see. This is not a huge dollar item, but it has faded my sun spot on the side of my face in just 2 weeks of use. I am very happy with it and I hope it continues to fend off that dark spot. Of course, I did not take a before picture because I just KNEW it wouldn't work. Ugh! But, it appears to work. The spot is still there, but I see it less in all kinds of lighting. I will update after a couple months to let you know if it fades almost entirely or not.I bought this for my spot and mainly for my husband who has pretty bad melasma. He also has glaucoma and is concerned the ingredients in this will affect his eyes so he won't use it. I would rather him have sun damage than blindness, but I am hoping after we see a dermatologist this year he can feel better about using this (will take it to show the doctor) with his eye issues....maybe I need to send it with him to the glaucoma doctor.The cream is a good consistency and it says you use a pearl size which to me is just one pump. It gets just the right amount of coverage and not a ton extra. It does not leave my face massively oily (I have oily skin and I do not like greasy lotions). Update coming in a couple months....stay tuned.

I am extremely skeptical of the ridiculously over-hyped claims for most women's beauty products. And I believe in aging gracefully and not being too image and youth-obsessed as so much of our culture today seems to be. So I nearly didn't try this until I read some reviews and saw a couple of glowing testimonials on YouTube. I have to say I am so glad I tried it, because this stuff absolutely WORKS! I am very fair, with freckles, and I do a lot of gardening, so I had some sun damage and mottled brown patches on my skin. Also, because my complexion is pale, whenever I had a breakout, it left behind a red or a dark mark for a long time. I have been using this serum morning and evening under my moisturizer, on my face, neck and chest for about one month, and I am ASTONISHED at the remarkable difference it has made. My skin is VERY noticeably smoother, clearer, more even toned, glowing and healthy. It has completely faded brown spots and old acne spots, leaving me a creamier, smoother, more beautiful complexion than I have ever had in my life! I have received many compliments since using this. I hope it works as well for everyone else as it has for me!

Weird to have my review under our joint account name, oh well....I have developed hyperpigmentation along my jaw line where my golf visor or baseball cap didn't shade. I have been trying several treatments and products over the last 3-4 years to try to decrease the dark areas without much success. I came across this product and decided to give it a try. It took several months to start seeing a change and I wondered at first if it was just wishfull thinking, but 3 months in I can truly say it has made a significant difference. Both areas are significantly less noticeable and some of the lighter areas are gone. I will be continuing to use this and we'll see where I am in another 3 months.UPDATE: I continue to be happily surprised by this product. My hyperpigmentation continues to fade and I'm starting to find that I have to look for it to notice the problem areas. It is not gone, but significantly improved. The big test will be next spring/summer when I'm back in the sun on a regular basis. I use sunblock and it will be interesting to see how well the combination of this product and the SPF 30 moisturizer work to keep the spots away. I'll let you know.

I have had extremely sensitive skin for ions and have now developed 'freckles'. Armed with a magnifying mirror and good lighting, I decided to try this.First and foremost, no breaking out. Second, I only use it once a day, maybe 3x a week (not the suggested twice daily, everyday). I started to see those cursed spots fading! If I had applied it as labeled, they might be a memory.Happy with using it intermittently. I find alternating treatments and taking one day off, reduce the threat of breakouts and help my potions work more efficiently. Try it. You just might like it. I do.

Didn’t work for me

This is a great serum! It goes on amazing and smells awesome! It could work as a primer too because my foundation and/or concealer go on quite nicely over this serum. As far as its efficacy in correcting dark spots, I am not 100% certain yet as I have only used it for 3 weeks and want to give it the full 8 weeks before I decide. I will say that my dark spots appear to be fading, but that could be because I am using other spot correcting products (e.g. face wash, toner, moisturizer) in addition to the serum. It's worth a try if for no other reason than the smooth texture it gives your skin after application!

Well the first thing i noticed is there's something in this that has some kind of reflective quality i guess you could say. It makes it so there's an immediate appearance of lightening. It's very subtle but i noticed it since i only apply to my dark spots. Also it's been about a month and the dark marks on my face are a little lighter. They are still there don't get me wrong, but they aren't as defined. I'm hoping that i continue to notice results and that it's not just the light hitting that reflection stuff.
