This Garden Hose Adapter set turned out to be a simple but very useful solution for my outdoor setup. I really only needed one of the female adapters, but buying this full set gave me a few extra connection options for future use — and at a reasonable price. These are used in RV to connect water line and not damage the original plastic by RV manufacturers attempting to save $2 rather than use durable metal. Works very well.

I found this kit to be a versatile and well-rounded set of garden hose connectors that could have a wide range of applications in the yard. In my case, I needed to reverse a Y-hose adapter—from one inlet and two outlets to two inlets and one outlet—and this kit worked perfectly. While the fittings have a slightly unrefined feel with some rough edges, they were easy to hand-tighten and produced a leak-free seal. The inclusion of four extra gaskets is a nice touch. Just note that since these connectors are brass and likely contain lead, I plan to use them only for non-potable water and irrigation.

I had to work with a frankenstein plumbing set-up at my parent's much older house. We were adding a small additional washing machine next to the main one and the connectors on the input splitter were all reversed from what I needed. Enter this set of M-M and F-F connectors in one convenient package.
