I must admit that I didn't even know these were a thing until a few weeks ago when our 11 month old border collie came into season for her first time. My wife and I went from absolute ignorance to being the total authority in doggy pants within minutes of finding the first drops of blood on the carpet.It's not a subject that gets discussed a great deal, but it is a fact of pet life that your four-legged girly will go through seasons and with it will come the inevitable discharges. And this is where doggy pants come in. There are a few choices out there, but it comes down to whether you want disposable or reusable ones. Considering various reviews, and our own feelings on the matter, we decided to try this pack of three reusable dog pants. Ours came in black, grey and blue. The black and the grey suited our blue merle border collie perfectly, while the blue ones made her look like Wonder Woman!The pants are very stretchy in the right places, with plenty of mobility even for a very active border collie. You put them on by first feeding your dog's tail through an elasticated hole and then bringing up the velcro tabs from either side of her belly and attaching them over her hips. The pants fit snugly with no leakage. Our dog, initially a little confused about what was going on, seems to have accepted them well. She's not chewed at them at all. They've been totally absorbent with no mess or bleed-through at all. Total confidence to allow our dog to lie on the sofa and bed as she always does.We use them on rotation, washing them in the machine or a soak in the sink. They take seconds to put on and take off so it doesn't become a chore letting the dog out to do her business. I've been very pleased with the performance of these doggy pants, and can see how they'd be just as beneficial to those with older dogs with bladder issues too.

Brilliant! Our cocker spaniel has just come in to her 1st season and although she keeps herself clean these are a god send for when she sits on the sofa, bed etc. We purchased a medium, she’s a petite 12kg, I would recommend a large if your cocker is on the heavier/larger size as I’d say these were a perfect fit for her size.She’s not bothered by them in the slightest and wears them over night when sleeping on our bed. We just whip them off when she wants to go outside to the toilet.

I love these dog period knickers..... They are fantastic.... My 7mnth olde English bulldogge having a terrible first season she is gushing every where bless her and feeling so sad that it's happening.... As soon as I put them on she seemed to know.... Measure your dog around waste and thigh.... They had a chart to follow.... I would always go for bigger size.... There is plenty of velcrow..... I've tried others and we're skimpy .... But these fit and cover fantastic.... Oh in foto reason you don't see a tail.... My bully was born with a half question mark tail flat to her back bless her..... Hope this helps ....

We have a female miniature Dachshund, we bought the small size for when she is in season. These pants did the job perfectly, far better than having mess all over the house.When our dog was wriggling around during sleep she did manage to wriggle out of them on occasion, but that is not a fault of the product, it is just what you must expect given the nature of dogs 🙂 Similarly, she did manage to pull her tail out of the provided hole, from time to time, but again that is unavoidable for some (probably more for short haired) breeds and it didn’t bring the pants off, it just meant her tail ended up coming out of a leg hole.You will know yourself the degree of success you can achieve with these pants by the nature of your dog. If your dog will tolerate having them on, they are a great purchase. If your dog is going to chew through them to get them off then you may have problems!The padded area of the gusset worked well, it clearly did not have to hold much for us so based on the reason for your purchase (incontinence or for during a season) you may have different results, but either way I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend you try these.If I could ask the company for one addition to the range, I would suggest the ability to select your own colours, and to add a brown and a blonde colour, in keeping with other dog fur colours. I am not someone who likes to ‘dress up’ my dog in human-like outfits, and so I would prefer to colour match the product to my dog to stand out a little less when amongst other people and then buy the pack of three in just the colour I want (which is actually dark brown for my dog).

I bought these after feedback from a question i asked other buyers. I have a 14yr old Labrador female who was become incontinent and they are certainly doing the required job until the medicine the vet gave me starts to work. We bought large (she has lost weight and is now around 25kg). They fit great. Wash fantastic. Easy to put on. Arrived on time. Only thing is i would have prefered all 3 to be black as she is a black dog. But never mind they work.

We have a lab going through heat for the first time, we decided to purchase this instead of using the disposable ones. However for found the sizing to be the main issue of this product, like many other people have stated in their reviews.PROS:+ The pad area is super absorben, it soaks up wee and leaks (however you should always remove it when your dog needs to go toilet)+ The outer fabric is thin and easy to clean (good for the summer weather, dog fur also is easy to clean off)+ The straps are secure, the pup couldn't instantly rip it offCONS:- The tail cutout is too low, everytime our pup wags her tail, she manages to wiggle out of the nappy- The straps are secure however only at the ends, I wish they made this bigger or extended it further down- Sizing is odd, I ordered a large however it looks small on a 8 month lab. I wish it was bigger so it could stay on whenever the pup is playing or moving aroundOverall, I wouldn't buy again, as the tail cutout and sizing are the main issue. A good product let down by the design and sizing.
