Thankfully, it was an easy return. The reason why I'm giving this product 4 stars is because of the phenomenal follow through by the vendor. They took the time to send me a note, apologizing for the fit issue - and even sent me a gift to make things right - a level of care that was over and beyond expectation.If you have a petite head/face, I would recommend this product. If you're not sure of the fit, you can at least rest assured that the return will be processed without issue. I highly recommend this vendor. If they ever offer additional sizes and/or use a fabric with greater 4-way stretch in the future, I would probably purchase again.

Ordered two of these for our family ski trip to Gore Mt, New York in the Adirondacks. Morning temps without wind chill were -2 deg F at the base. Overall I am extremely pleased with this product and would recommend it to anyone needing face protection from the elements. It is very well suited if you will be active as sweating was not an issue. Protection without wetness= comfort and not bulky. Can't go wrong with purchase.Key Points:1. Not bulky, fit under helmet easily.2. Little excess material. Good fit but not too tight. Fit fine on my 10 yo son as well as on my 45 yo head. I am a medium size, 7 1/4inch head size.3. Did not retain excessive moisture from exhale and dried quickly. This made it comfortable to wear all day - used it skiing about 8 hours a day.4. Considering how thin it is it protected me from the elements at -2 Deg not even counting the wind chill. I was surprised how effective it was.5. For the price, one of my favorite functional purchases in a while.6. I like the lizard skin print, but may not be for everyone.7. For skiing the breathability of the material prevented excessive exhalation from going up into the googles. This prevented any significant fogging.

Purchased for my growing teen snowboarding son. He had used a polartec balaclava for years, he loved it. I purchased this because it was thinner and in hopes of not having to purchase a new bigger helmet for him. Well, he still wants a new helmet, but this balaclava was a hit. He said for him, it was just as warm as the polartec, but it was noticeably more comfortable and better at regulating moisture around his nose and mouth. Its also pretty cool looking. I'll be purchasing a second one for my younger son next season because he likes it too.

I loved this Balaclava. My wife and I are hikers and started to hike recently in the cold weather and snow in the New England area and recently purchased this product. This Balaclava which came in one size fit us both well even after a few washings. It was light weight and very breathable. It has great face cover and I wear glasses and it never inhibited my vision. I would recommend this product to everyone, the hard core folks including us weekend warriors.

When I first put it on, it felt a little snug, but after I got it settled into place, it felt really good. Kinda like i had a compression fit under armor shirt. I wear a 3/4 helmet and needed some wind protection. It did a good job keeping the wind off and didn't fog my glasses. It didn't affect my breathing at all, which pleasantly suprised me. If the one I have wears out, I will be getting another one. Great product and hard to beat the price.

Got this to wear under a motorcycle half helmet for this chilly early morning riding times. It fits well under my helmet and cuts the chill. Haven't been on too many long rides with it yet, but I'm sure it will do fine!

I used this balaclava for snowboarding. It was 30-60 F, but I mainly needed sun protection. My only regret is not covering up my nose, since I got sunburned on the end of it. The product fit well, did not cause fog up goggles, and did not impede breathing or talking. It is thin material (not cheap, just thin), so not my first choice below 0 F. I washed it in the washer/dryer and it looks the same.

Product got delivered way ahead of schedule so that's a plus. However, the mask is unusually tight. It could be my head but I was expecting the material to be far more stretchable. Also the camo graphics seem faded. They can only be seen if you are REALLY up close.
