Worth every penny!
I love my Asus Tranformer, it's a great pad & does everything I expect it to.Add this little beauty & it is far more - not only do you get a great looking net-book/laptop equivalent (I've not seen a smarter looking laptop) , you get dedicated keys, a multi touch scroll-pad, full qwerty keyboard with great Tactile keys, a full size SD Card socket (on top of the MicroSD on the Pad) plus 2 full size USB ports. The Pad & Dock marry together beautifully to make a solid feeling laptop. The base will can be used as a power supply or as a portable charger - the base uses it's battery to recharge the pad when docked.I now have 80 gigabytes of of storage (16 internal, 32 Micro SD & 32 SD)

good and bad
The good:Build quality of the keyboard is excelent, and tactile feedback is also good. The extra battery life the dock offers, and the ability to use SD cards and have extra USB ports is also welcome. The bad:Five months old, however, and the battery stops charging. I could live with that, all companies get problems with their products and I believe this is a known fault among some keyboard docks. What I can't live with is the lack of support. you'd think there would be a returns address published somewhere. You try to access the brick wall of Asus technical support or find a return address - then it's the (becoming industry standard) palarva of paying premium rate phone calls to get info.A good business - sell rubbish and then charge people to complain! Asus should be embarrased.

Makes the Transformer tablet a viable netbook replacement
The transformer 'dock' allows you to input text at normal typing speeds, adds about 7h battery life to your transformer and when docked protects the screen when folded away. I have now ditched my (comparatively) heavy Win7 laptop and am just using the transformer now.In terms of typing speed, although it's a 95% keyboard I feel like I'm as fast on this as any other keyboard. It also has a row of surprisingly useful and comprehensive shortcut keys across the top which I've found myself using a lot (things like wifi on/off, bluetooth on/off, screen brightness, volume, etc).Common shortcuts work normally (ctrl-c, ctrl-v, ctrl-p) except in some random circumstances when you have to use the screen long press options. The only complains I would have: a 'Backspace' but no 'delete', and the 'backspace' is right next to the 'sleep' button.

Asus keyboard dock
This tablet is such a compact and versatile piece of equipment. We pack it and take it away with us, which makes it so easy to stay in touch with family and friends. The keyboard has been a great asset and increased our use. The camera is a great extra and as the tablet is small, it can be carried around in a bag. We have downloaded music, films and radio programmes whilst away and even conected it up to a TV in our hotel room to skype people, watch film or listen to the radio. Cant recommend it enough or find any negatives.

Asus Keyboard Dock for TF101
The Asus Transformer Keyboard Dock for TF101. I thought twice about buying this bit of kit because of the price of it. But after using it for about two month now I can honestly say it was worth it. It gives you longer battery time, a nice keyboard layout and the touchpads not bad either, I use a small wireless mouse with the dock which works well. One bit of caution, With the dock and Tablet together the thing ways a ton, as I'm getting on in years I would not like to have to carry it around for two long.

Underwhelming
The keyboard is okay, and having the onboard battery is a good idea. But, there is no escape key, which for some applications is quite a problem. And it's easy to accidentally hit the lock key, which blanks the screen every time. Don't expect to be able to type with ease... it's still a bit of a pain.
