I was looking for a lightweight jacket that was a bit generic looking but utilitarian. This jacket is excellent. The fit is perfect, and the cuffed wrists make it so nice to wear. I went with the oatmeal colored as I wanted something more non-descript, I have plenty of jackets with logos and bright colors. This was a home run and the icing is that my wife likes it too. The jacket seems to be well made and I am hoping to get many years of wear from it.

I have been using this jacket for years and the quality is amazing, I did not have any problem until now that the cloth is getting damaged but this is due to the time and the usage.

As with most clothes made in eastern asia, the cut and size are a bit of a miss for western wearers. It's just the way it is. But this jacket DOES fit. You will not find the issue of it being 2 or 3 sizes too small. The issue is that for 2X, it does fit, but it isn't cut to the same proportions. It's too bagy in the sleeves and the main issue is that it is super long but I think if I had ordered a size down it probably wouldn't have fit across the chest, so there's your conundrum. Just shop smart, it will probably still look good with the right outfit.That said, it does fit, which is more than I can for most. I have half a closet of clothes out of Japan that might have fit me when I was in Junior High, but as a 6 ft tall, wide shouldered adult, there isn't a chance. This jacket is at least wearable.
