1/16-Inch Cobalt Steel M35 Jobber Length Twist Drill Bits for Hard Metal, Stainless Steel, Pack of 12

Glad they provide 12 drill bits, because they just don't last. Used up one bit just trying to drill a safety wire hole in a brake caliper bolt- and yes I used cutting fluid.

Drilled through 16 and 18 gauge black iron steel and the bits went through easily. Still was able to break them after 5 or 6 holes, remember the bit is only 1/16", however that is probable due to not having a drill press. The bits lasted longer than the Dewalt bits. I would highly recommend this product over standard drill bits especially when you consider the price.

I needed some bits for drilling safety wire holes in titanium. Cobalt was recommended but what the big box stores had was more than I wanted to spend. Especially because I was drilling an angle and knew I would break a bit or two. Lucky for me 8 holes later I only broke one bit because I tried to go too fast. I am pretty sure if I would of took my time the bit would of been OK.I'll buy more in different sizes if I need to in the future.

Product was either unsharpened or defective. Needed to drill 4 pilot holes in 10 gauge steel. Was able to start and finish 1 with 12 bits. Cheap Chinese junk would be a compliment to these. Wont buy again.

Will drill through nearly anything. They don't last forever and that is to be expected. Metals I was having a great of trouble drilling through with standard drills were no problem for these drill bits.. very happy with them.

I wanted a usable drill bit. I thought ordering 12 would cover me. I was wrong, I received 0 usable drill bits, and it doesn’t look like there were ever enough parts to make up 12 drill bits, possibly 7. They must not be very high quality if they can’t count or be shipped without breaking.

Notation was that the package was left on my back porch, better than in front. But in facct it was tossed on the carport floor and almost got rolled over when i drove in.. Better, but room for improvement.

I bought these to drill steel. They failed and broke. Cheap bits are cheap bits.
