I wanted to review this because I chose to get it despite the one star review. The author of that review was understandably upset that after spending a lot of money on memory foam, the chair was not at all full. The problem is in the description. It says you need 3.5kg of styrofoam beads or memory foam to fill it. Some punctuation to make it clear that they did not mean 3.5kg of memory foam. 3.5kg is about 7.7lbs. Memory foam is extremely dense and I can’t even imagine trying to fill this chair with it. I doubt you’d be able to lift it. Polystyrene beans are incredibly light. 7 lbs of those are 200L (2 of the large big joe refill bags). I used 3 of the 100L big joe bags and the chair is filled. 2 would not be enough. So that’s about $55 of the beans to factor in.This chair appears to be really well made. It’s comfortable. The material looks nice. The FCB logo looks great. The chair looks and feels expensive and well made. I haven’t had it long enough to comment on how it holds up. So far, I’m happy with it.That’s a typical 16 inch throw pillow in the picture for size reference.Edit for update: This chair is very high quality. Money well spent. The kids have jumped all over it and it looks new almost a year later. Comfy for kids or adults.

I too have found the 3.5 kg (7.7 lbs) filling required to have been inaccurate. I’m 15 lbs of filling in and still have a very flat bean bag for my son. Once it’s filled we will be thrilled as the quality of the bag itself is applaudable! I recommend the seller please change the filling recommendation as multiple customers have been misled.
