Was looking for something, shiny, see through and just a bit different. I have just downsized to an efficiency apartment and needed a divider to separate out my sleeping area from my living area. I wanted something, shiny and see through, so it didn't close off my sleeping area. This curtain was just perfect and I get more compliments on it then I ever would have imagined.

I use this for a non-typical use. I have a doggie door that I remove every evening. I live in an apartment and cannot fix the door properly, so there are gaps. And my dogs are afraid of the flap. This means bugs have a free entry into my home. So, I use this as a bug deterrent. It works - mostly. And it doesn't look too horrible. It looks a bit odd from the outside, I don't care. I love the color. I have it folded in triple as I didn't need it to spread out and I wanted it thicker. It is much thinner to spread out than the picture would have you believe. Now, that being said - it serves its purpose and it doesn't frighten my dog that has cataracts. Works for me. If they ever come up with a dark purple, violet, or plum; then I will replace this one. I love purple, but lilac isn't exactly my favorite shade.

SUPER thin. looks nothing like the picture after its hung. Would need 4 just to achieve that look. Very disappointed. Would give no stars if I could. Tangles very easily.

I should have known better. If you purchase this for looks, it won't look good unless you get more than one. It looks plain cheap and it had a smell to it when I took it out of the package and tried to hang it. The strands tangled easily and the shiny aspect they use to catch your eye is a shiny plastic silver confetti-like strand braided into the strands. I immediately returned.

Light weight. Very easy to install and use, but is very cheaply made, purchased as a door for my 8 year olds closet, it looks beautiful but just trying to move ass loosen some of them and sone have even fallen out with minimum pressure applied. More for a decoration that wouldn't be touched or used to walk under. More like hang on wall and look at it.
