Finally dialed in! They fixed the small toe box area. Mizuno had been getting to narrow, and now are back to the older model. The arch support feels a bit more sturdy as well. I only wish they wouldn't skimp on the length of the laces.I find them comfortable walking on concrete all day. These are the only shoe I can wear that keeps my back and knees from hurting.

Not enough room in the toe.
I like the look of this shoe! I have worn Mizuno Wave Creation shoes for several years and have recommended them to my friends. Lately the 9.5M have been too tight in the toe. It could be my feet are changing but my older shoes still fit. I switched the new shoe cushion with one from an older shoe trying to make more space in the toe. It still wasn't enough. I may have to order a half size bigger. They are high priced shoes and this was an inconvenience to say the least.

Save your $$$$
I read almost every review before I purchase an item. I rarely write a review though. These are my first pair of Mizuno’s. Impressed with the comfort but EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED with the quality. I haven’t had these on my feet for even a month and they’re already falling apart. Most likely my last pair :(

Excellent Running Shoe!
I have been wearing the Wave Rider for years and recently started feeling more "achy" during my runs (generalized knee, ankle pain) and also started running more hills. I researched many sites and took the plunge and purchased without trying these on at a running store. They arrived quickly (prime) and felt like an awesome, firm, supportive glove. I wore them yesterday for my first run and I felt no pain whatsoever. They felt light, supportive and absorbed the pounding from my concrete hilly runs. I am so happy I purchased these shoes. I normally wear a size 6.5 or 7 in shoes and wear a 7.5 consistently with the Wave Riders. I ordered a 7.5 in this and they were perfect.

So sad :(
Ugh. Y’all, I’m so, so disappointed with these shoes. I wanted to love them so much. I will say, they are extremely comfortable walking shoes. The problem lies in the fact that I bought them to run in. Seriously, they’re like walking on clouds, but the minute you start running they lose all stability, collapse, and are awful! They’re even worse on longer (7+miles) runs. I have 106 miles on them, so it’s not like they need to be broken in, nor should they be past their life. I get the worst shins splints, pain in my IT band area, and under my knee caps after I run in them. I’ve never had this issue before :(So sad that the Mizuno wave catalyst 2 are so hard to find now -those were my jam!

Very comfortable but heavy!
I love to run and I have had lots of luck with mizuno waves in the past. However, these shoes are very heavy! Very comfortable and great support on legs and hips but heavy in weight. Great for training for future races to improve time lol! But too heavy for everyday running in my opinion.

Bounce. Comfort and Structure
Awesome shoe. Been wearing Wave Creations for ten years. Have tried or her shoes here and there because they changed the toe box so much, but always come back to these. They provide structure and bounce. I have some hip tendonitis issues and back probz when I temp switched to Gel Nimbus. Now that I’m back to these no issues.

Update:previously loyal to Mizuno. Dont waste your money!
Update: Mizuno customer service did end up contacting me. The shoes have a limited 1 year warranty that they did honor after sending pictures, videos and discussing that I couldn’t send them the shoes to examine because I am still wearing them to run and we are all currently experiencing the covid 19 outbreak. They are sending a new pair to replace the damaged ones.I am an avid Mizuno fan, only running in Mizuno for the last 5 years. I bought this shoe for marathon training and went with the Wave Creation 20 instead of the Wave Runner because I had read reviews that it was a better shoe for training. I am two months into marathon training, most of my miles have been indoors due to weather and the shoe is literally losing its bottom. The connection between the heel of the shoe and the sole has torn on both shoes and is almost completely detached. When I run it makes a squeaking and flapping noise. I took it to a local running shop and they felt it was a manufactures defect based on my wear pattern and running schedule. I contacted Mizuno directly regarding this issue (stating that I wasn't looking for reimbursement but wanted them to acknowledge the defect ) and they did not respond which gives me a bad taste regarding their loyalty toward customers. Though I have run only in Mizuno for the last 5 years I am looking to other brands that are better constructed and have better customer response. I am saddened and frustrated to be doing this mid way through my training season but I dont want to spend the money to buy another pair of these shoes only to have it happen again.

Fake product!
Folks, I would not recommend buying this shoes! I've just picked up the shoes and compared with the original and this product is completely terrible. The glue is really visible, the fabrics' cuts are not aligned. The front leather fabric has inferior quality compared to the original. Also, the glue was kind of accidentally manufactured poured onto the fabric. I will be return this product today.

Poor craftsmanship and quality
I had a pair of Mizunos for 4 years. Great shoe! When it was time for a new pair I bought the newer model. I’ve been wearing them for less than 4 months and only in my home gym. I went to lace them up as usual, pulled the laces tighter and the lace ripped right through the hole! These are expensive shoes and I would expect better quality. Amazon won’t offer me a credit, a refund or a replacement. Not impressed.

Great shoes - I love Mizuno!
Excellent shoes so far. I run in them. I’ve been running in them for a few weeks. I have no pain in my knees when I run, so I’m happy about that. I will update the review if anything changes.
