I installed four of these lights in our new office space. The space is 480sf with 8 ft ceilings. These lights look nice and do a great job of lighting the space up. Installation was very easy with the manufacturer supplied hardware. I can't speak to longevity of the actual Leds yet, but so far I am pleased with the performance. Espcially the color of the light and the briteness.

I used these 72w 4ft LED lights to replace fluorescent lights in my master closet and garage. My fluorescent lights were flickering or slow to turn on, so I was contemplating buying new ballasts and bulbs to bring them back to life. However, after researching the cost of led lights, I found these nice looking wraparound lights that are supposed to be a lot brighter than fluorescent lights, so I took a chance.WOW, was I impressed! My master closet is brighter than I could have imagined, and now we can find things easily. I also replaced two sets of fluorescent lights in my garage, and WOW, I can actually see, and work in my garage at night now!Cost/benefit was a no-brainer. By the time you factor the cost of replacement ballasts and fluorescent bulbs, vs. the (supposed) longevity of these LED lights, the super brightness of them, and the reduced electrical current draw, I think these LED lights win, hands down. I purchased a set of 4 of these, and so far have only used 3 (1 in master closet, 2 in garage). I am still trying to figure out where to use the 4th set, but will likely put it in the garage near the work bench.These particular wraparound lights are nicer looking than many of the other types of wraparounds.Install was easy, for a novice DIY, homeowner like me.

We built two(2) garages and used these lights. One garage 36ftx56ft and the other 25ftx26ft. We spaced them end-to-end on 8ft centers and width at 7ft centers. Because they are not dimmable we partitioned the large garage with 3 sets of switches and in the smaller garage we partitioned them with 2 switches.Great lighting and dispersion!

Removed my old 8ft flourescents, these were probably twice as bright.Took off one star because running wires through the housing was a bit difficult, you really have to remove the housing so you can lay the wires in and then replace the housing, running a fish wire through there just wasnt enough room to run to either end.If you are wiring from the middle, no problem, that is the default wiring position.

I've installed many many light fixtures and these are some of the worst I've ever seen.As noted in other reviews - They're super flimsy which is fine if you're mounting them to a solid surface.Here are the main critiques:There's a rivet in the way of the lock nut if you're planning to use the 1/2" knockouts on the ends. This means you have to spin the whole fitting outside the fixture instead of the nut inside the fixture.The clips are an absolute joke... Having any one of the four unclipped is enough to pull the other three out and the LED panel falls from the base. This is incredibly frustrating to install and leaves no faith that they're not gonna fall down if a bird lands on the roof. At least there are safety cables to keep the LED from falling - which leads to the final criticism:The safety wire is also not adequate to support the LED panel if it comes unclipped from the base ( and it will ). One of the 8 fell for no apparent reason and broke the safety wire right off. I ended up using zip ties across the width of the fixture to keep it together.

Update 11/2020 - new house, bought six more. Got them up in no time at all, very pleased yet again!I have four of these and will soon have six in my garage. What a massive difference they made from the traditional screw in LEDs we were using. SUPER bright and takes about ten minutes to attach the two wires and screw back into the ceiling. I did this myself but it would be much easier with help, the last step is screwing in some little thumb screws on both ends. Those are kinda tough to line up and you have to do them at the same time because the metal shroud they hold down is too flexible to do one side and then climb down to move a ladder and get the other side while the shroud hangs from one end. You’ll see what I mean. Overall, very pleased and hope they last!

I bought this pack of four lights to replace three fluorescent 4' fixtures in my rec room. I used the fourth in my storage room. I was a little nervous purchasing these after reading about bent ends on some units. They must have changed the packaging- ours came undamaged with stiff foam protection on both ends. The box was even wrinkled on both ends from some rough handling. These are very bright compared to my previous lights (2 thin CFL bulbs per light) , almost too bright. (I would consider a dimmable light for a living space.) We would've been fine with two lights but I wanted to cover up holes in the ceiling from the old lights. The quality is good. The metal is strong enough to hold shape well but light enough for a one person install. These can be daisy chained but you need to buy the bushings for the end holes for a safe wire passage. Also buy some better quality anchors if you're going into drywall. Look good for a rec room, great for a garage/ shop.
