Disappointed
Unable to use. Needle hole too small to thread and struggled with that. Once finally able to thread, the needle snapped in half while threading through fabric. Argh! Returning item now for another product.

Very Little Instruction
I was hoping that this kit would come with some explanation for an absolute beginner, but aside from one vague printout of a few stitches, there's nothing to explain for an absolute novice how to separate strands, or where a bunch begins and a strand ends, or even where to start on the pattern.This might be good for people familiar with sewing but just getting into embroidery, but I'm completely new to ALL of it.Fine to buy, comes with plenty of thread and three needles per pattern, but I suggest buying with a book or something that explains things a little more.

Don’t buy
The thread is extremely cheap and falls apart to the touch. It’s almost impossible to put into the needle because it gets frayed so easily. The cloth is tough and it’s difficult to get the needle through.

Not what was described
I will be returning this if possible, it is not what was described. I read this item very carefully when I was searching for an embroidery kit to purchase. This kit specifies 1pc bamboo embroidery hoop, and when I opened this shipment, it is a tan colored plastic hoop. VERY disappointing, as I searched exhaustively for a bamboo hoop, and avoided listings with plastic. The kit has photocopied instructions that look poor quality and describe contents that are not part of the kit. Very misleading.

Not complete or the best for beginners
The directions are blurry and hard to understand. I needed YouTube to replicate what the directions were trying to show me. The needles provided are not adequate for the lavender pattern, which has lots of bouillon stitches. This requires a milliners needle, that I had to buy separately. Also, bouillon stitching is not necessarily beginner friendly and takes a lot of practice to look decent.

Find something else.
Not as advertised. I received a cheap plastic hoop that barely kept the linen taut and didn’t hold it in place. The instructions are not clear as to how to properly make the stitches. Also, this is for beginners but has no direction on threading the needles or tying off. I had to look up tutorials on YouTube. Designs came out nicely. Also, no clear instructions on how to clean off pattern... soak it in hot warm for a minute. The ink lifts right off. Would not recommend for beginners.

Easy instructions to follow, everyone can embroider

Not the best quality but a great starting set
I got this set for my mom, as a mother’s day present for her - she used to embroider a lot and I was hoping she could pick it up again. It’s an intuitive and easy to use set, and the fact that everything you need is included makes this a very handy and easy present. I know she’s mentioned the quality of the needles isn’t that great, but for this price, they will do. I’d recommend this set to anyone who’s considering getting into embroidery - it really is a lovely beginners set.
