I love the leather feeling and it is very durable. Very lightweight and the size is perfect to hold and put in your pocket. Very easy to read and the tape is retractable. You just need to press the center of the round tape, it will be retracted. I use the tape all the time and it is such a great value for the money. One of the best products I purchased this year!

Love, love, love this tape measure! I use it for measuring my crochet projects. It stays open well and then you push the soft center and it coils right back up perfectly and it is really good quality. I loved mine so much thatI ordered a three pack to put one in each of my daughters stockings for Christmas.

Very cute and a great addition to my purse! I bought them so that I can get rid of the ones that I have to roll up every time I use them. The leather is very soft, very colorful, and I have not had any problems with the retraction. They are exactly like pictured. They came in individual boxes that I could easily wrap for gift giving. I’m very pleased.

Don't bother. It's not even worth the small price. It did not retract. I had to push the tape back in but even then, the last few inches would not go in. I have completely revised my review. I tried everything to get it to retract and worked on it over a day. Then my husband came by and said, "You just have to squeeze the sides". I did this and, voila, it quickly and completely retracted. It would be helpful if the maker would put some"press here to retract " symbols on the case and include directions. It is a cute item and will easily fit into my purse

My dad has been selling old jeans on eBay and needed some fabric measuring tape (the grandkids kept playing with his old ones). I thought this one looked manly and worked well. It is leather like the color is nice. Is accurate, flexible, and durable. Great value. Would also be good for body measurements. Nice and compact.

EDC = Every Day Carry. Yep, I'm that old Boomer who likes to carry all sorts of "necessaries" in my cargo pants pockets (don't tell me cargoes are out of style; it has nothing to do with style - LOL). And a tailor's tape comes in very handy at times. Ya' just never know when you're going to need to measure something. I've been using a retractable one for years. But the leather cover on this one really elevates it. And it's so light you won't even notice it's there until you need it... and, of course, it'd be good for your sewing basket too. It may just be the same as the cheap plastic ones under the leather cover, but with it it's good looking and feels like good quality. I got one for my daughter, who is a realtor, as a stocking stuffer too. She was skeptical about keeping it in her purse at first, until she had a client start asking how wide the doors were and how deep the counters were at a condo she was showing them. Thanks to dear-old-Dad she was able to whip out her tape and tell them on the spot. Now she won't go to a showing without it.
